Exploring the interior of nature and its secrets. - Forest Park 📷 Málaga - Spain
Touring the inner, hidden corners of a natural space under the silence and peace of nature can be very revealing of its most beautiful beauties.
Someone asked me recently how it was possible that this city had so many natural spaces, with a tone of surprise and the reality is that not only does it have many of these places that tourism does not normally reach or know about, even the locals themselves do not know about them, but also that these natural spaces are very large and often a day is not enough to see them in their entirety.
Some time ago I found on the map, my great friend of adventures, the forest park El Morlaco and it mentioned that it has 19 hectares to cover, so I realised instantly that I could not see it in its entirety at once.
The first time I went and brought it here I went along the marked trails, the ones that are specially prepared for hiking, but even so it is a park that has many trails, it is easy to get lost and even more so if you decide not to go along those trails and explore the interior without trails and among the trees.

The latter is what I decided to do on this occasion, to walk through those parts that I had not walked before and to walk among the trees, among the bushes and to feel more closely that contact with the leaves, the trunks, the earth. It is an ideal place to find silence, the silence that allows you to find yourself and rest your mind.
I could see very high rocks, also clay formations and that the water of the last rains, possibly was undermining and generating holes in its interior.
Climbing slopes on the ground with some rocks, some big, some smaller and very careful not to slip. For this you have to have the right footwear.
I think I have mentioned it several times, but I love the smell of pine, it is like a scent that fills the lungs and I find it delicious. I have also mentioned a lot that I like to touch the leaves of trees and in this case pine trees, to feel their texture, to see their bright colours and to feel the energy that comes from them. As if by touching them there is an exchange of energy or I am nourished by it.
From time to time I would walk out of the trees and follow a path that I hadn't walked before and I would always look at the tops of those trees. The day was cloudy, the sky was white and it was drizzling from time to time, but that didn't stop me, water is energy and a few drops were not going to do anything to me, besides, I was sheltered among the trees. The smell of the pine trees and the humidity of the rain fascinated me.
The terrain of this forest park is very uneven, you have to go up and down all the time, and the reason is because it is very close to the mountains and sometimes I could look down and see a gap in the ground, and always on my way there were pines, of various species, but also many olive trees.
I also spent a lot of time paying attention to the soil, the colour of the earth, the rocks in it. Sometimes the soil was black, sometimes more reddish, sometimes whiter, the stones also had different shades. There were areas where a green blanket of plants covered the ground.
I found pieces of trunks, fallen and dry trees as if they were a bridge and areas in the middle of the dark landscape because of so many trees, full of light and brightness. I am sure that these spaces in the city are inhabited by marvellous entities that we do not see. What do you think... it's very magical, or at least that's how I feel.
Almost at the end of my tour, well actually I don't think I was able to cover all 19 hectares, but on the way I came across a wonderful viewpoint. As I said the day was cloudy and the landscape seemed very mysterious.
Finally, after walking several paths, because I thought I was lost, I found one of the exits, where this sculpture was waiting for me. I know that I still have a way to go, especially the northern part, and I will come back because it is a wonderful place.
Thank you all for joining me on this hike today, I send you all a big hello. See you soon.

Good morning, dear friend @avdesing
How great that you visited this beautiful forest park in your city. It looks truly beautiful. It can't be easy to explore and see everything in the nearly 20 hectares of the place.
Beautiful photos. I appreciate you sharing this wonderful and refreshing adventure.
Have a lovely afternoon.
Hugs to the whole family.
It is not easy, especially because it has many paths, too many, and as I don't know them well, they all seem the same and they are not... sometimes I found closed roads... but it was great. Thank you!
Good evening my friend, you are exploring a very amazing nature and behind its beauty there is a very deep secret, it is very extraordinary, i really likes it ❤️

Caminaste bastante en el parque, se ve muy grande, imagino el aire es super fresco.
Bonito paseo
El aire entre tantos pinos es fantástico y sanador. Me alegra verte!!! Gracias!
What an adventurous trek full of great panoramas. With a network of trails one can easily get lost. It's good to be prepared for any trouble and let others know where you're going for how long, if you're hiking alone. At least, you don't have bears to contend with 🐻
According to the sign I could find chameleons and squirrels... I didn't see any! Luckily there is a signal and I can report any inconvenience. I love that picture!
Hi @avdesing, no wonder you end up exhausted from your walks. The place you bring back, the forest park El Morlaco, this time I liked it more. Those rocks peeking through the trees make a spectacular landscape. I can imagine you touching the leaves of the trees, I can even see you hugging them, they are a reserve of energy, I can also imagine you with a good pair of shoes.
An ideal place for when things go well, when they go regular and when they go bad.
About the question, I think the locals have seen a green extraterrestrial woman with a map and a mate... I don't know if you also saw this fantastic being.
Thank you very much for this walk.
A big hug.
It is true that it is an ideal place for all moments, good or bad. Recharge your energy! The map... this time I didn't use it hahaha it was great to be there!
Buenas noches!
Don't run, well do what you have to do, I'm off to see you at the comment you left me. And thank you very much for everything, for your work, for how generous it is and for the support I feel since I've been around here.

I am sure it is inhabited by magical creatures. And everything you experience in the silent forest is the best medicine for the soul and the body.
Tactile and visual sensations, the smell and freshness of the breeze through the trees, the lights and shadows that are created there... it's quite a journey.
Btw, I see that even the forests of Malaga are tidy and clean... what a great happiness, my God! Thank you for taking me on this walk. I enjoy it through the screen as if I were there.
The town hall has people who maintain the places, maybe you can find some paper but there are always bins everywhere, I still admire that cleanliness which for the Spanish is normal but for me it is not ....
I am already looking on the map for another place!!! Thanks!
you must have already found it and explored it
;)

🤣🤣🤣
What a peaceful and beautiful adventure! Reading your reflection felt like taking a slow, mindful walk through El Morlaco myself. I admire how you described your connection with the forest. That sculpture waiting at the end felt like a reward for your bravery and curiosity.
My contact with nature is growing every day and I enjoy it very much, thank you!
That’s beautiful! I’m so glad you’re enjoying that journey.
A delightful place to walk as I see in every photo!... And besides crossing the wonderful pine forests, you can see postcards like this one:
