Exploring a hidden passageway overlooking the lagoon 📷 Malaga – Spain
Natural spaces often contain hidden places within them, places that are not visible at first glance, but by exploring we can find great beauty and incredible views.

Almost a year ago, I found a beautiful lagoon on the map, my great friend for searches and explorations. I went there and enjoyed a sunny spring day in its early days and was able to appreciate a marvel in the middle of a neighbourhood full of buildings, also known as the university district, because all the faculties are located there.
But the wonderful thing was the experience I had and brought back here, but on that occasion there was a place I didn't visit. A large staircase descended too far and I didn't know where it ended. I promised myself I would return to explore that place, on a walk that I left unfinished but wanted to experience.
So a few days ago, I set out on the journey again, taking a bus to the place on a completely cloudy day and praying that it wouldn't rain. When I arrived, I realised that everything had changed because the landscapes in that place now looked very different in winter. The flowers were beginning to appear, the bushes that were once green were now red, waiting to sprout, and the colours of the entire landscape were very different in the absence of sun.

I set off towards the northern end of the lagoon, remembering that the staircase was somewhere around there. I passed through areas with lush vegetation that I had never seen before, such as a large number of olive trees laden with fruit, many of which had fallen to the ground.

Without the sun, the shades of green had a grey tint, but that didn't stop me from reaching the spot to explore and find out what was in this magnificent place. The views from above were spectacular, and I wanted to know what it was like to be at the water's edge of the lagoon.

In the distance, following the marked path, I spotted what looked like a column or row of pine trees and knew I was close. They are located on both sides of the large stone staircase. From that perspective, I really had no idea what to expect when I got to the bottom. As I looked at the staircase, it became narrower and narrower, and I set off down the path.

As I descended, I saw other paths leading away from the site and running through green areas to my right and left. I could see pine trees on either side of the staircase, descending further and further.

Abundant lavender plants that gave a very special aroma to the environment, along with the scent of pine that I love. From time to time, I looked up at everything I had descended and could no longer see the path I had walked on at the beginning.

There was a wide variety of vegetation, bushes, trees and many paths running through the place, but I stayed on that huge, long staircase trying to take in everything around me.

There were wildflowers of different colours along the edge of the path and also a playful kitten that came out from among the trees, talking to me in its language and asking me to follow it, but I was going in the opposite direction. It was very friendly.

When I finished descending the staircase, I came across tall plants through which I could see the beautiful lagoon. I do not know the name of these plants, but they looked like reeds and created beautiful landscapes.

Meanwhile, I continued walking along the path, turning around and circling the lagoon. The landscapes were different from what I usually see, especially with the absence of the sun, although a little light could be seen on the horizon. The sun was already setting in a beautiful sunset.
There were some spots along the way where I could see the lagoon better and the reflections of the trees and pines on the other side of it.

The path zigzagged, and the exploration so far had been wonderful. I also came across bushes with small white flowers, which were beautiful.
As I moved away from the path, the lagoon was left behind among those tall plants. I began to climb a path to leave the place. Tiny wild blue flowers they were on the way

The landscapes change so much from one season to another, but they all have their charm and beauty. It is a perfect place for walking, exploring, picnicking, and being in touch with nature. Look at the views... They are so beautiful.

I moved further away from the lagoon, always accompanied by bushes and plants with brightly coloured flowers, indicating that spring is very close.

I looked up and saw dozens of birds flying through the skies, everywhere I looked, as if greeting me from above. It was a great experience and I discovered this hidden place that was new to me.
Thank you very much for joining me today, I send you my best regards. See you soon.

Good afternoon @avdesing, I loved this walk. It is true that the sun did not accompany the path, but there are spectacular images. I really liked the photographs of the lagoon seen behind the curtain of reeds, as I also enjoyed that sky covered in birds. I am still curious to know what place the cat wanted to show you.
A big hug, happy Tuesday!!
Gracias!
Although the sun did not rise, it was a beautiful publication, if you come back and follow the kitten it will be a pleasure to accompany you.
Aunque no salió el sol quedó una publicación preciosa, si vuelves y sigues a la gatita seráo todo un plecer acompañarte.
Sería una buena historia para unos horizontes que son invisibles.... muy buena historia!!!
A very interesting story... that's for sure. Tomorrow I will visit you again... I hope for new surprises.
A very big hug. 🤗👋
I think tomorrow I'll take a walk around an area of a neighbourhood that I love! See you tomorrow!!!🤗
🤩 Great... I won't miss it! 😃
See you tomorrow.🤗👋

Gracias!!! Y esa gatita espero encontrarla nuevamente si vuelvo a ir.
What a great hike in so many natural spaces. Even the cat seemed to be enjoying himself. There are several shots that stand out. I like the ones with the stairs and the path, which is inspirational. The wildflowers also caught my attention
and this one with the birds in the background. Excellent set!
They are among my favourite photographs. I thought the cloudy day would ruin the photos, but it didn't. Thank you very much!🤗
I heard that cloudy days are better for some photos because the light is softer, and it looks like it turned out great for you.
I assure you that I learned this from cloudy days, they turned out really well! I will take advantage of them more often, I can even take photos in the rain.
Thank you so much @visualshots and @jlinaresp 💗💗💗
Its lovely! I love looking at the photos! My compliments!
Thank you!!!🤗
