A sweet Halloween walk and a world of fantasy. 🎃💞

Walking around the city gives me the opportunity to explore new places and often, like this, when looking for decorations, I find eye-catching things, full of colour and sweetness.

Last week, on several days, I went for walks both during the day and at night in search of treasure, or rather Halloween decorations. I wanted to see what the city had to offer me again this year, as it is always changing.

So this walk is actually not one but three in one. And during them, I dedicated myself to looking for shops, stores, decorations in the streets, anything that caught my eye. When I'm looking for something like this, I can walk a lot and not even notice the time, which, by the way, was a lot.

On the first occasion, I found some shops, such as bazaars, that had decorations, masks, and Halloween costumes in their shop windows.

There were also some opticians that had decorated the spaces between the glasses on display very nicely.

Some shops sold household and beauty products.

When I went back outside, it was almost nighttime, and I found a very beautiful shop that sells all kinds of items, especially bazaar items, but both of its shop windows always have products related to the holiday in question.

They decorate differently for each holiday, and it is located right in the historic centre. That's why my walk took me through different parts of the city. This time, it wasn't a walk without a purpose, but rather I wanted to see how many new and beautiful things there were everywhere.

But this walk doesn't end here, it continues beyond the historic centre and reaches the seafront promenade. I was very curious to see what decorations they had put up at the city's most famous market.

So I made my way there and the first thing I saw was the long row of stalls, where only two or three had Halloween decorations and I was only able to take a photo at one of the stands. Sometimes it's not so easy if there are a lot of people around.

Further on are the traditional stalls of the Pier One market, decorated in a way that changes regularly with each event or festival, and I was sure I wouldn't be disappointed this time.

First, I walked around a few stalls and saw that the decorations were witch hats, which I really liked. They were hung at regular intervals at the top of the stalls and accompanied by garlands of green leaves that provided a nice contrast. I have to emphasise the good taste of the person or people who are always in charge of these decorations; they are always beautiful.

When I reached the centre of the market, where space is reserved for creating incredible worlds, I found that the decorations did not allude to traditional Halloween, but to a very tender and sweet one, as if we were immersed in a fantasy world where we could see elves and talk to trees.

Giant mushrooms emerged from bright green grass, where enormous snails greeted the children, who ran around trying to find the elves. I saw them running everywhere, counting to see how many there were and if they could see them all.

I love that so much effort is put into the children, so that they don't lose that innocence and fantasy in their minds, of such a wonderful world.

I could see natural pumpkins, they didn't have faces or anything like that, there were also birds, little houses for the goblins and beautiful vegetation with yellow flowers everywhere. I even saw hedgehogs walking around the fantasy world. If you counted the number of goblins because you believe in this fantasy world, I invite you to tell me in the comments how many there are.

Thank you for joining me on this original and colourful Halloween walk. I send you my best regards. See you soon.
Amonet.

I see that center as purity within the terrifying Halloween party 🎃 children looking for their candy and around them, spirits and demons stalking them, waiting for the slightest distraction 👻

And the goblins, apparently good, are turning into little demons that terrify everyone and lock them up in their little world! So it is Halloween, ha ha ha, thanks for stopping by!😘

Good afternoon @avdesing. Nice walk among pumpkins and Halloween decorations. Besides, it's not hard for me to imagine how much fun the children must have had enjoying that garden with that tree house, mushrooms and flowers.

Looking at the shop windows you can see how the merchants hone their ingenuity to create fantasy worlds for their audience.

Anyway, I also enjoyed this ride. Thank you.

Happy afternoon.

After the party was over, I found even more places, and it's true, the shopkeepers really go all out with the decorations. I love that.

The children were running and playing everywhere... but did you see the elves? How many are there? Hahaha.

Have a great afternoon!

What a charming and colorful Halloween walk! 🎃
I love how you captured both the festive spirit and that magical, fairy-tale touch — those giant mushrooms and elves make it feel like stepping into a dream. It’s beautiful to see how the city turns into a sweet fantasy world for children.

Really looks like you had a nice walk!
I really admire the effort they put into decorating those things. Soooo impressive!
I’m guessing there were around four goblins? Not totally sure if they’re even goblins hahahaha

I see three, but since they are elves, it is possible that you may see some that are invisible! Thank you!

Hello Amonet, how are you?

It's impossible not to love and envy the city where you live; they're always decorating for the holidays.

The boardwalk and the dockside market are one of those places that are always keeping up with the latest trends, and they create beautiful decorations. I loved the fantasy world they've created.

Beautiful photos!
