A nature walk, still waters and life in all its fullness. 🌿

There are many kinds of walks and strolls, but the most healing on every level, and the ones that enrich us most, come from nature and that which only nature can achieve: giving life.

It is in places like this that I feel that every step I take, in whatever direction I go, means fresh air, oxygen to fill my lungs, to regenerate them, to walk on the earth, even if I’m not barefoot, and to rest my eyes. Green is a colour that signifies health, and truly, when one finds oneself in spaces like this, one’s health is renewed.

I always talk about energy and vibrations, because this is fundamental to ensuring that our quality of life keeps getting better. This doesn’t mean having more money or more possessions; rather, it stems from vibrating at a high frequency, from having the best possible energy, from improving it as much as we can and one way to do this is through contact with nature.

I believe there is nothing wiser than nature. It has existed practically since the beginning of time, long before us humans, and knows how to heal itself, despite all the bad things it goes through and that humans cause. It remains standing, and that is why I believe we must always learn from this true teacher.

This is a spot tucked away amongst a maze of paths beneath a sea of trees within the city’s largest botanical garden, which I discovered by exploring and asking myself over and over again… what if I follow that path? What happens? Life is very much like this: if we explore, we find new horizons and ideas, and nature helps us do just that.

The moment I discovered this little paradise within the larger paradise, there were no words to describe it. Lately, I often say that nature is the only thing capable of surprising me with its beauty. Knowing how to look and observe is the key.

But it doesn’t just help us on a physical level, and I can assure you that I notice this every time I’m in these places or walking along a deserted beach. And you might say I’m a loner, perhaps… but the thing is, in solitude you can appreciate certain things.

When you see new landscapes, majestic landscapes, your mind focuses on that and not on everything that’s on your mind day to day, worries, work, financial situation, health or whatever. Your mind simply soars and there’s nothing else. It feels as though the mind has simply left the body, as if the head were disconnected. And that is where the magic happens. Because the magic of nature connects with the magic that resides in our hearts.

It is at that very moment that a simple walk amongst the trees becomes something that cannot be described in words, because that is not the language of the heart; it is felt, not spoken.

Seeing these pools of water got me thinking a lot about reflections in life, whilst I listened to the sound of little waterfalls cascading and the sound of water all around me. Those who know me know that I love water in all its forms. Its sound is soothing and helps with many issues such as stress, insomnia, racing thoughts and much more, problems of the mind.

That’s why this has been a walk for mental relaxation. And soon I’ll go to record real sounds of water; that’s what’s on my mind right now. Many people use these spaces or the sounds of water to sleep, meditate, rest or simply as background noise in their daily lives. I do it, and the effect it has is wonderful. If we add a walk like this in this place or somewhere similar, the experience is truly wonderful.

Thank you for joining me on this Wednesday walk; I wish you a great day. Best wishes. See you soon.
Amonet.

Hello Amonet, how are you?

What a beautiful botanical garden! It's impressive how big it is and all the lovely corners it has.

That corner with the bench is wonderful; I could spend hours sitting there.

How pleasant it must have been to hear the water running in that little waterfall.

Beautiful photos.

Have a great day.

That spot wasn't very well-visited, as you had to crouch down amongst the plants, but I managed to discover it and enjoy it. Thank you so much, Abi!

Good morning, dear friend @avdesing.

You're absolutely right, there's no better place to walk than nature, especially when you want to connect with it and feel its healing properties.

I love your city more and more each time I see it; I adore these vast natural spaces you have. I would definitely visit every day.

I can already imagine the videos you'll share with the natural sound of that waterfall.

What a beautiful walk! I appreciate you sharing this experience.

Have a wonderful day.

Just imagine it the way you want it to be, with trees and flowers. Reality—and the way you experience it—can change. Mine did. Thank you!💗

My neighborhood isn't so bad. I just wihs I had more nature. There is the occasional squirrel or chipmunk. A rabbit sometimes. But for the most part, it is parked and moving cars and the occasional school bus. I do try to escape through listening to ebooks, or talking to my son on the phone.

If you have a garden, you can focus on it and that will help your mind relax; you need to create your own space.

Good afternoon @avdesing, thank you for this thoughtful meditation. A nice walk under the shadows of the trees, you feel the good energy, Reading you you feel the water, the vegetation and a slower passage of time.

Happy afternoon. Thank you.

Hellooooo 😃

Oh, that botanical garden is a paradise indeed. What a relaxing place, with all that green and peace that nature transmits. 🌿

Yesterday morning, I was lying on the sofa not feeling very well (I ate a little piece of avocado, and I know I can't as I can't digest it, but I always want to give it an opportunity and try) and then I was looking at one of my plants. The green was relaxing, even though it was just a plant in a pot haha, not a whole forest, but still, the green colour of that little plant was soothing.

How are you?

I went to the garden before the operation with my mum and the rest of the family, and it was lovely exploring new places!! I look at the photos and it all comes back to me!

How am I? Hahaha, a bit knackered, not getting much sleep... and lots going on, but health-wise I’m fine. Next month will be even busier. Even short walks always help. Thanks!💗

You are strong and even though there are many things going on, and you take care of your mom as we talked in the other post, I know you always find the light, the positive thoughts that give you the strength. ✨ And yes, even short walks contribute to it 😉 (but try to sleep and rest enough 🙏)

Have a great day @avdesing 😇

Malaga is wonderful, and these photographs capture its beauty. The waterfall shots are pure magic, and I also like this one with the multiple elements in a single scene. The image has a nice range of colours accentuated by the variations in light and layers of depth.
