A moment to stroll alongside the birds. 🦆

I always say that walks are like the paths of life, and I always come back to agree with that. There are times for walking along trails, times for looking back, and times when it is nice to stop and look at the beautiful and surprising things in life, simple things that are worthwhile.

Paths that are different and out of the ordinary, like this one, which is a bridge built over water sources that create a small elongated lake where you can walk while admiring the dancing waters, I love that.

And here begins my walk for today. I realise that the places I like to walk the most have to have some water, as if I needed it to give me that relaxation and feeling of fulfilment.

The sound of the water gushing and then falling into those huge water fountains was very relaxing, as if it were a sensory experience, my eyes focused on beautiful landscapes and my ears to hear the water falling quietly, like those relaxation videos.

It was quite a long bridge and there was always water along the way. When I reached the end, I turned to my left and the view changed to a large lake with reflections that also danced on the water, which in turn moved due to the effect of the birds that were there.

In one corner, there was a lot of greenery and some trees, and if you look closely, you will see several pigeons and parakeets looking for food among the grass.

This beautiful swan came out to meet me. I admire the whiteness of its feathers; they are among the most elegant birds I have ever seen.

In my opinion, this park is the largest in the city and is similar to a zoo. A sign indicated some of the species I could see. It is a good place to start a new hobby such as bird photography, as there are always many different species to be found.

Immediately after studying this sign, I found one of the species, the Ruddy Shelduck, right next to me. What I did was crouch down, stay very still and observe them, barely breathing.

It's like those moments in life when you see the simplest things and marvel at them, staying still and silent to really see things. And this moment was one of them. I was just watching those birds and wanted them not to notice I was there, or to take me as part of the whole and act naturally, so I took one photo after another. They are so beautiful.

There was another bird on the lake, but I think it was an intruder, because I didn't find it on the previous sign or perhaps it was on one of the many other signs. It is also beautiful with its orange beak.

Then, to my left, I found steps that led me to a slightly higher path, where there were vine plants, and from where I could also see the lake. I walked along that path.

As I walked along, I took photographs from different angles of this beautiful place, where serenity reigned supreme. A space for birds, paths, nature, life-giving water and, above all, silence. The only music was that of nature itself.

I said goodbye to this corner of this gigantic park, promising myself to return again and again, to explore it completely without missing anything. It is wonderful.
