Sunrise in Bogotá | Photo collection (ENG-ESP)

Greetings, fellow photography enthusiasts! I hope you are all doing well and that you are having a wonderful day.

The other day, I went to the airport at dawn to pick up someone very dear to me, and on my way back, at six in the morning, Bogotá treated me to an unforgettable sight. The city was just beginning to wake up, and I stood before that immense horizon, enjoying the privilege of watching the sky, with the colors of dawn, transform before my eyes. Above these streets and brick buildings, the sunrise appeared with a perfect blend of deep blues and vibrant oranges. The horizon looked as if it had been painted with soft, light-filled brushstrokes.

En estos días fui de madrugada al aeropuerto a buscar a una persona muy querida, y de regreso, a las seis de la mañana, Bogotá me regaló un espectáculo inolvidable. La ciudad apenas comenzaba a despertarse y yo estaba frente a ese horizonte inmenso, disfrutando del privilegio de contemplar cómo el cielo, con los colores del amanecer, se transformaba ante mis ojos. Sobre estas calles y los edificios de ladrillo, el amanecer aparecía con una mezcla perfecta de azules profundos y naranjas vibrantes. El horizonte parecía pintado con pinceladas suaves y llenas de luz.

The clouds parted to let the sun's rays shine down, bathing Monserrate in light. That same light pierced through the cold, thick morning mist in Bogotá and illuminated the still quiet avenue. Everything seemed to come to life under the beautiful glow. I felt how those colors woke me up inside and brightened my day. This sunrise invited me to start over, to take a deep breath and be grateful for everything.

These photographs I took can hardly reflect the grandeur of that moment, because what I saw and felt was much deeper and more exciting. I am sharing them here so that you may rejoice in such beauty.

Las nubes se abrían para dejar pasar los rayos de sol que descendían, bañando con su luz a Monserrate. Esa misma luz atravesaba la bruma fría e intensa de la mañana bogotana e iluminaba la avenida todavía tranquila. Todo parecía cobrar vida bajo el hermoso resplandor. Sentí cómo esos colores terminaron de despertarme por dentro y me alegraron el día. Este amanecer me invitaba a comenzar de nuevo, a respirar profundo y agradecer por todo.

Estas fotografías que tomé apenas pueden reflejar la grandeza de ese instante, pues lo que vi y sentí fue mucho más profundo y emocionante. Las comparto por acá para que se regocijen con tanta belleza.
