The Most Comfortable Green Park in My City, Tengah.id

In today's development, many things have changed, all following modern developments. Not only technology, circumstances, situations and conditions around the place of residence also change without us knowing it. For 28 years, I was born and grew up and lived in only one area, Medan City. I've lived here for almost 3 decades, so I must be very familiar with where I live. However, without realizing it, this place developed over time.

In the past, when I was a child, my mother and father used to take me for walks to the center of the city, to be precise in the green open park at Merdeka Walk. In that place, it used to be a center where people played in the middle of the city and enjoyed garden facilities around which there were many food vendors such as snacks, street food and even children's toys. At that time, Merdeka walk was present as the center of the largest playground in the city. Besides Merdeka walk park, there is a large building called Uniland Plaza, the building has a large area of land and there are also several small buildings around it. In the past, the small building was the office of a state-owned company which was closed several years ago.

The development of this era has made the place now finally become a new place in this city. Entrepreneurs make the place into something fresh, new and modern, taking advantage of this very strategic place as a place for culinary business people to develop their business. This place is also designed as an urban lifestyle space, where this place is a strategic place to hang out and gather while enjoying a variety of culinary delights.

It is named Tengah.id, which has the meaning of 'middle' from the language used by local residents to meet in a strategic place, so I think this name is very attached to the habits of Medan residents.

There are so many tenants and merchants who sell a variety of food and street food, ranging from local and foreign food, various types of food that cannot be missed. In addition, this place is very shady, there are many large and shady trees, and the breeze makes this place very relaxing. Like an open green park that is perfectly designed for all walks of life, without the need to spend a lot of money to sit in a restaurant, this place also has lots of seating provided without having to order food, we can bring food from home with a note that we must maintain cleanliness.

Only by paying for parking, we can sit back and enjoy the shade and oxygen obtained from the surrounding trees, this is a plus point of this place. Besides the people of Medan really need a place like this, this city really lacks open green parks in the middle of the city, there are only malls with tall buildings.

I really hope the government's participation in realizing green open parks in this city. Maybe there are several locations that are very suitable to be used as places like this in the city of Medan, especially this is very helpful for culinary business people and local residents to increase the purchasing power and the economy of the people of Medan for the better.

Tengah.id is located in the middle of Medan city, on Jalan Irian Barat, precisely beside Uniland Plaza Building, open from 08.00 – 22.00 WIB, you can enjoy various foods there because there are many merchants such as; people place, secret gelato, zeribowl, golozo, shu guo yin ziang, coffee philosophy and many more.
