My First Impression Trying Blackpink Coffee
Blackpink, if you hear this one word you will immediately imagine a very famous Korean girl group, they have many works that are loved by many people all over the world. However, what do you think if there is a menu with the name BLACKPINK? I think you must be thinking the same thing as me.
So, I came to a coffee shop not far from my house, this coffee shop is very famous for its beautiful place and also very crowded with many young people who like to hang out with friends. Besides that, this coffee shop attracts attention because every day there is live music and an acoustic band featuring many talented talents with interesting voices and music.
I also came to this coffee shop because it was very hotly discussed on social media, so I came with joy. I'm curious about the coffee they have, especially the menu that caught my attention with its name, BLACKPINK. This is a coffee with a very interesting name, isn't it?
I asked the barista, what coffee is this? The name is very familiar, is it special in the menu? The barista answered 'YES' and without worrying I just ordered and paid for the coffee with several other menus. After that I chose a table that was comfortable in my opinion and soon the coffee I ordered came in a fairly large glass.
When I first saw it, I was attracted by the pink and black coffee, a very interesting combination like the album poster from blackpink, without any other color elements in this copy. Really just BLACK and PINK. For the first time I tasted the pink cream which I thought was whipped cream with food coloring. But it turns out that the pink color tastes like strawberry ice cream that I often ate when I was a child, coincidentally as an adult I didn't like strawberry ice cream.
The taste of this strawberry ice cream tastes sweet and sour, like strawberry ice cream that we usually eat, there is no special or interesting mixture, the strawberry ice cream is used as a topping without being processed. Then at the bottom it feels like hot espresso mixed with dark chocolate powder, I almost don't feel the chocolate taste and the coffee taste is stronger. But it's a shame that the coffee served is not so good, it tastes like coffee that has been roasted for a long time. I don't know if it came from coffee grounds or cocoa powder which tasted weird, but it tasted really weird on my tongue.
I try to stir this Blackpink coffee to see if the flavors of coffee, chocolate and strawberry ice cream can blend together and produce a good taste. But apparently not my taste, I can only swallow it in 1 gulp. I'm kind of tormented by this strange taste, or maybe this menu isn't just my type. Because at the beginning of ordering, the barista said that this coffee menu was the favorite menu of their customers. Then I tried to get my husband to feel it and he said so too. At that time I tried to think positively that maybe I just didn't like the ice cream.
Even though I don't like it, it's okay to try new flavors of coffee, so we know many things that everything can't be mixed just like that. Likewise with life, there are some things that cannot be put together but can live well even though they are opposite.

It is a very nice coffee to look at but I find it very strange a combination of black coffee with strawberry ice cream, I really can not imagine a good result of that, maybe with a buttery ice cream, I find it more appetizing, it's a pity that I do not know also because the idea is good and striking.

I guess someone who likes Strawberry ice cream would be in for a treat. It seems like a weird combo with a chocolate and coffee blend. I guess I would have to try it to discover.
This coffee is suitable for people who want to explore coffee flavors and combinations. Although, I can't enjoy this drink.
