Crispy Tofu With Cashew Sauce

This time I want to share a few simple recipes for vegans who are in need of vegetable protein. I will share a little of my knowledge about food that is delicious to eat and can be used as a snack or main menu that can be served for yourself, your family or your partner.
Crispy tofu recipe that can be used as a healthy food menu, rich in nutrients and fiber. As we know, tofu has a lot of cheap protein content (especially in Indonesia). This crispy tofu recipe will be very good for the body, for those who are on a diet and want to reduce the level of fat in the body, this is perfect for you.


After almost 2 weeks I reduced the use of oil because I was quite worried about my and my husband's health, we have a fairly high percentage of body fat, so I decided to reduce oil, especially deep fried food processing.
This recipe will really whet your appetite, besides the delicious taste, the appearance is also very similar to KFC fried chicken, for those who are trying to reduce their consumption of animal protein, this is perfect for you. Corious by the recipe? Check this out.

Ingredients;
- 200 gr tofu
- 50 gr Mocaf flour
- 100 gr cornflex
- Pepper, coriander powder, oregano and salt
- 100 gr cashew nuts
- 1 pcs lime
- 150 ml of water

How to make cashew sauce;
- Cashew nuts are first roasted for 10 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius, then soaked in 100 ml of hot water for 10 minutes.


- Add cashew nuts, salt, oregano and lime juice, grind until it looks like a paste.

- Set aside and can be stored in the chiller for 1 week. Use sparingly.

This cashew nut sauce is perfect as a substitute for cream or mayonnaise. Instead of using cashews, you can replace them with sunflower seeds, almonds and any type of nuts you like. I'm sure you will like this cashew nut sauce recipe. Although nuts are a good food for the body, remember that nuts have a high fat content, so eat in moderation. Maximum one hand grip.

After that, we will make crispy tofu, there are many types of tofu that you can use, use whatever you like, if you are afraid that it will break easily, it is best to boil the tofu for 5 minutes first.
How to make crispy tofu;
- Dice the tofu, then soak it in water.

- Put mocaf flour, salt and pepper into a bowl. Give a little water so that it becomes a dough to wrap the tofu.



- Grind the cornflex, then cover with tofu that has been sprinkled with mocaf flour. Perfect dressing so that the tofu becomes crispy when eaten.



- Bake in the oven or air fryer, cook at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 – 20 minutes.


- Crispy tofu with cashew sauce is ready to be served.


Since adopting a new lifestyle, I know a lot about ingredients that are silent killers for the body, one of which is the use of gluten, which has a bad impact on health in the future. I use mocaf flour which is made from 100% cassava, besides it tastes good it is also good for the body, but still consumes it within calorie limits according to the daily nutritional needs.
