Rural vs urban photography

It is obvious that photography may be an art in the context but it is also a tool which can be a boon in the hands of a civilized mind while a bane in the hands of a demon! Urban photography, rural photography and street photography are just the various forms of this majestic art which not only brings out the mindset of the photographer but also the reaction of the beholder.

Just as using others' copyrighted photography is certainly avoided, similarly trespassing can be injurious and sometimes hazardous for those involved. Nevertheless, those who complain being a part of the portrait obviously would not like to be given the credit. Yet when the question of alignment arises, the mastermind will always take a backward move.

Talking about rural photography which is quite different from urban photography, it covers the country life and the beautiful landscapes, hills, forests, rivers and the lakes. Needless to say that the best photographers are good talkers. In fact, a good photograph which makes my day shine is the sunrise image or the snow-clad hills with the rays of golden sunlight!

However, some of the appreciable rural photography of Cartier were those of the pigs looking out of the pigsty in Holland and a duck floating down the stream! The rich colors and lighting with animals and humans living in harmony has also been highlighted in this type of photography.

There are certain aspects which we need to keep in mind while going for street photography since there can be issues while photographing strangers. There can be confrontation with people who are not comfortable being clicked in your shot. I would say that being considerate and not taking photographs of underprivileged would be appreciable rather than being exploitative and earning curses! The social media platforms like tumblr and instagram are quite popular where people share the photographs and make photographers' portfolio.
