A short walk at Great World city Singapore

Good day, everyone. I hope all is doing well. Today, I go out and unwind as the boredom strikes. If I stay in my room, my eyes are glued to my phone, which hurts. To let it rest, I need to go out and see different scenery, not just the four corners of my room. I decided to go to one of the malls near my place. Since the Chinese New Year is approaching, a lot of beautiful displays and decorations can be seen around.

At first, I had a second thought when I saw the dog lying there. If it's real or not. After observing for a while then, I knew it was just decoration. It looks natural, though. This pussy willow flower is trendy among the decorations every Chinese new year. I always saw this in the house. My employer always bought it for decoration. She said it's a symbol of wealth, growth, and prosperity. It comes in different colors. She always chooses pink.

An arc made of a paper ball lantern plays a significant role in Chinese culture. It represents hope and perseverance—also family gatherings in times of celebration and a brighter future. Orchids are one of the must-have decorations during this celebration. It symbolizes fertility, purity, and elegance. It's also a sign of wealth and abundance. Orchids of all kinds are said to bring good fortune.
Different flowers are also displayed here. It's all for Chinese New Year decorations that are believed to bring positive energy, good luck, and happiness. We used to have a cherry blossom display last Chinese New Year. After the celebration, we keep it until the flowers dry up and need to be disposed.

I enjoy looking through this beautiful and colorful display. There are some more dogs displayed here that look so adorable and real.
I have more things to say and explain about the Chinese New Year decorations, but I think that's enough for today.

After taking a look in this beautiful display, I entered one of the store and started window shopping. What about I try some caps here?

Like I said, I just try it. I put it back and exited the store. I went to eat because my stomach was already complaining. One of my friend accompanied me, and we chose this food among the rest. They offer a lot of delicious foods, but this one caught our eye. We call it bulalo in our country. It's a popular dish in this Filipino store. I have yet to try this dish, even back when I was in my country.

After eating, I realized it was worth every cent we paid. It tasted excellent and satisfying. My eyes could eat more, but my stomach would already burst.
After eating, we roamed around the mall again to digest our food, until our feet were tired. We decided to sit in the nearby park and watch people passing by.

When it started to get dark, we decided to part ways and headed home. I would be busy again until the Chinese New Year celebration.
