[PL / ENG] AKUKU! My Actifit Report Card: June 15 2025

W niedzielę odwiedziliśmy nietuzinkowe miejsce: recyklingowy plac zabaw Fundacji Akuku.

On Sunday we visited an unusual place: the Akuku Foundation's recycling playground.

Nie ma podanych godzin otwarcia - jest fanpage na FB i podany numer telefonu, na który zadzwoniłam, dowiedziałam się, że tego dnia czynne od 12, opłata za wstęp to 30 zł / dziecko, 10 zł / osoba dorosła, płatność tylko gotówką, zapraszamy. Wzięliśmy więc gotówkę i poszliśmy.

According to the description on the website https://krainakreatywnosci-akuku.pl, children will find animal enclosures, a recycling playground and a sensory garden. There are no opening hours - there is a fanpage on FB and a telephone number, which I called, I found out that it was open from 12 that day, the entrance fee is PLN 30 / child, PLN 10 / adult, payment only in cash, we invite you. So we took cash and went there.

Miejscówka jest zlokalizowana w doskonałym miejscu, albowiem możemy sobie tam dojść spacerem przez nasze Rozlewisko. Potem trzeba niestety trochę przedrzeć się na tereny ogródków działkowych przez krzaczory, ale takie, kulturalne, bez problemu daliśmy radę.

The place is located in a great place, because we can walk there through our Rozlewisko. Then, unfortunately, you have to get through some bushes to the allotment gardens, but such easy ones, we managed without any problems.

Teren jest faktycznie spory. Jest co zwiedzać! Wszystkie instalacje i zabawki są z drugiej ręki, co po stanie niektórych z nich - widać. Wciąż jednak jest się czym bawić, co robić.

The area is really big. There is a lot to see! All the installations and toys are second-hand, which is obvious from the condition of some of them. However, there is still something to play with, something to do.

Sporych piaskownic wypełnionych zabawkami jest kilka. Trampolin też. Przynajmniej dwie kuchnie błotne - ogromne! Jest to teren przygotowany na przyjęcie naprawdę dużej liczby dzieci. Tego dnia, w upale, dzieci było niewiele. My też wolelibyśmy pewnie nad wodę, ale czekamy, aż gile się skończą. Tak czy siak jakieś tam niewielkie towarzystwo było.

There are several large sandboxes filled with toys. Trampolines too. At least two mud kitchens - huge! This is an area prepared to accommodate a really large number of children. That day, in the heat, there were few children. We would probably prefer the water, but we are waiting for the bullfinches to end. In any case, there was some small company.

Jest budka z jedzeniem i napojami, i wedle opinii - jedzenie jest naprawdę dobre. My akurat nie próbowaliśmy.

There is a food and drink stand, and according to reviews - the food is really good. We didn't try it.

Regulaminy.

Rules.

Kociarnia. Kociarnia to zamknięty strych, gdzie mieszkają, a jakże, koty. Mają też małe okienko i mogą sobie wyjść na zewnątrz, do własnego malutkiego ogrodzonego ogródka.
Przeszukaliśmy stryszek dogłębnie, ale znaleźliśmy zaledwie jednego kota. Potem okazało się dlaczego - trzy kolejne były na zewnątrz, a jeden uparcie usiłował sforsować ogrodzenie i dać dyla.

The cat house. The cat house is a closed attic where, of course, cats live. They also have a small window and can go outside, to their own tiny fenced garden.
We searched the attic thoroughly, but found only one cat. Then it turned out why - three more were outside, and one stubbornly tried to get over the fence and get out.

Królikarnia. Nie fotografowałam wszystkiego, ale obok było też mieszkanko świnek morskich. Do królików można wejść, pogłaskać.

Rabbit farm. I didn't take pictures of everything, but there was also a guinea pig home nearby. You can go in and pet the rabbits.

Ogólnie to jest to miejsce raczej dla starszych dzieci, ale Dzidzia oczywiście była zachwycona i chciała eksplorować wszystko. Natomiast względy bezpieczeństwa są takie, że tam jej nie można naprawdę spuścić z oka. Miejsce jest nietuzinkowe - owszem. Ale hmm, typowe place zabaw mają pewne atesty, a co za tym idzie - rozwiązania, które gwarantują jakieś poczucie bezpieczeństwa. Tu tego nie ma, instalacje są takie powiedziałabym swojskie, i nie masz pewności, czy Dzidzia zaraz nie ściągnie sobie drewnianego koła położonego na oponie jako stolik na stopę, albo nie wbije jakiegoś gwoździa. Co do Bombla, jest on już w takim wieku, że może sobie biegać swobodnie, i jest ok, to miejsce dla niego jest w porządku, ale miałam też chwilę grozy przy tym domku. Domki na placach zabaw mają barierki, w które wprawdzie przy wchodzeniu można się huknąć w łeb, ale za to które skutecznie chronią przed upadkiem z wysokości. Tu takiej barierki nie było. Bombel zagadany ze mną drepta nogami, musiałam go poprosić, żeby się odsunął trochę od tej przepaści ;) dzieci zagadane mogą naprawdę nie zauważyć i zlecieć.

In general, this is a place for older children, but Dzidzia was delighted and wanted to explore everything. However, safety considerations are such that you can't really take your eyes off her there. The place is extraordinary - yes. But hmm, typical playgrounds have certain certificates, and consequently - solutions that guarantee some sense of safety. There is none of that here, the installations are, I would say, homely, and you are not sure whether Dzidzia will not immediately pull off the wooden wheel placed on the tire as a table for his foot, or hammer in a nail. As for Bombel, he is already at an age where he can run freely, and it is ok, this place is ok for him, but I also had a moment of fear at this house. Playhouses on playgrounds have barriers, which you can hit your head on when entering, but which effectively protect against falling from a height. There was no such barrier here. Bombel, when talking to me, toddles with his feet, I had to ask him to move away from the precipice a bit ;) Children who are talking to me really might not notice and fall down.

Plus za ocienione miejsca, minus za to, że wygodnych siedzeń w sumie niewiele :D Choć może się czepiam, bo leżaczki były. Tylko jakoś nasze dzieci bawiły się tam, gdzie mieliśmy do dyspozycji wąski kawałek pseudoławki.

Plus for the shaded spots, minus for the fact that there aren't many comfortable seats :D Or maybe I'm nitpicking, because there were deckchairs. Only somehow our children played where we had a narrow piece of pseudo-bench at our disposal.

Kociarnia, królikarnia, osiołki, kozy... a wspominałam o wiewiórkarni? Nie? A owszem, jest.

Cattery, rabbitry, donkeys, goats... and did I mention the squirrel house? No? Yes, there is.

Bomblowi najbardziej spodobała się kuchnia - są dwie, zachwyciła go ta, na drugą nawet nie spojrzał :D Ależ było pełno roboty!

Bombel liked the kitchen the most - there are two of them, he was delighted with this one, he didn't even look at the other one :D There was a lot of work there!

Chata prezentuje typowy śląski charakter, a w toalecie stoi nawet zabytkowa Frania.

The cottage has a typical Silesian character and there is even a historic Frania in the toilet.

Ciężko było Bombla stamtąd zabrać, chyba chciałby do wieczora tę zupę z zielska gotować :) Ale dodam, że panie prowadzące Akuku są bardzo miłe, profesjonalne i pomocne, i jedna z nich przyszła nam trochę na ratunek, dzięki czemu Bombel szybciej pogodził się ze swoim nieszczęsnym losem i jednak udał z nami w drogę powrotną. :)

It was hard to get Bombel out of there, he probably wanted to cook that weed soup until the evening :) But I will add that the ladies running Akuku are very nice, professional and helpful, and one of them came to our rescue a bit, thanks to which Bombel came to terms with his unfortunate fate faster and went with us on the way back. :)
