Wish you all a very Happy Photography Day!!

19th August is marked as the World Photography Day, to honour the art, craft, science and history of photography. Over the years photography has changed a lot, earlier it was a process that very few could do, but now technology has made it so easy that with one 'click' you create memories and fill your digital storage spaces.
There are so many brands making excellent camera equipment from hobby photography to the professional grade. There is one tech which is highly undervalued is your PHONE CAMERA. I am sure you must have also noticed this, that your phone cameras are getting better and better. Every year phone companies while launching its new phone emphasises on their camera systems and what all tech they have placed in (hardware and software) their phones. And yes!! these cameras are really good.

So as a photographer I have been imparting what little knowledge I have with school kids about Macro Photography. My main goal is to use photography as an enabler to learn more about the hidden wildlife around us. Parents of participating kids love these sessions because I focus on photographing insects and spiders using our mobile phones. Parents don't have to shed money and kids are learning new skills.

For today's post I will share some of the clicks that I have taken my OPPO Reno 12 Pro during some of my sessions.

Blue Family Butterfly

When you are out exploring the wild and find something interesting it is your handy mobile phone camera that helps you capture the beautiful subjects hiding in plain sight. When kids see such photographs taken from a mobile phones, this motivates them to explore more and test out their mobile cameras.

Honey Bee Pollinating

With good document photos we can even explain the concepts like pollination and even different observations which not just help kids understand the concept better but also create a gallery of beautiful pictures.

Orb Weaver Spider

Creativity is the limit with mobile camera. Frames are out there and those frames are just waiting for you to capture with whatever means possible.

Two Tailed Spider

Huntsman Spider

These are some of the clicks that I have clicked and showcased to the participants joined me during my macro photography sessions. Kids specially enjoyed these shots because these images has given them a different perspective towards the smaller wildlife around us.

WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY PHOTOGRAPHY DAY..... go out and click a photograph, don't think about the gear, or the frame... just take a shot and celebrate the day.
