The City of 72 Nations : Memories of the past on the streets of Tehran.
Tehran is a lovely city in Iran that is also known as "The City of 72 Nations" due to the large number of migrants from all around the city. Iranians gather in Tehran to look for work, work as laborers, and further their education. Also, I've seen that most Afghans and Pakistanis work as laborers there to supplement their monthly income.
A BEAUTIFUL CITY WITH MODERATE WEATHER AND SACRED LOCATIONS
I've visited this city several times in my life, and the weather always makes me happy. I can claim that the weather in Tehran and my hometown of Quetta is nearly same in terms of not being hot enough. Most of the time, the temperature is moderate or cold, but some months are hotter and I avoid travelling during those months.
I just visited Tehran while on a family vacation. This is the most sacred location in Tehran, as well as an essential location for Iranians and have importamce meaning for the Iranian people. The location is known as Marqad Imam Khumeini (late Iran's Supreme Leader). The symbol of revolution and liberty who brings about a tremendous revolution to give people freedom of life.
It was 11 a.m. when we arrived in Tehran from Qom, which was roughly a 2-hour van ride away. I had planned to travel this short distance by VIP train, but due to a lack of time, I changed my mind. As soon as we arrived, I saw the weather was fantastic, with a slight chill in the air.
It wasn't particularly cold, but because we were travelers, we were prepared with warm clothing. I dressed my daughters in special warm clothes because I don't want them to become sick because it will bring problems for us. Another challenge is that their language are change from us which can even make communication difficult.
As I approached the location, I noticed that the atmosphere was lovely and appealing. So I decided to photograph the surrounds and the wonderful environment. The path to Khumeini's tomb passed across a large open area. My children were overjoyed to find such a lovely location and immediately began playing and racing along the walk, enjoying the moment.
A PHOTOGRAPHIC JOURNEY OF SHEHR RAI
This place is mostly green, especially during the months of June and July. When we visited in February, the cold was at its worst, and all of the greenery was vanished. Trees, flowers, and other plants can be seen dried in the photos. But they were still gorgeous and made us feel good. While I saw that some plants that can survicve in cold weather were still green, it greatly refreshes the soul.
During this time, when we were outside the tomb, I took some stunning photos of the surroundings, which I've shared with you. The photographs contain the beauty of Tehran's land path, beautiful trees and plants, the time my kids are enjoying their early years, some memorable shots of my family, my picture to make it a memory for the rest of my life.
I chose the first photo to be my own, which I looked for to shoot in such a way that you could see the background of the beautiful site where the tomb must be visible. The trees and other greenery in the backdrop, as well as the beauty of the sunlight, are worth viewing. My wife took this photograph of me, and I instructed her on how to take it. I truly like her picture style and admire her.
There are some more images from Tehran, the city of love and city of 72 natiuons, for you to enjoy. These are the moments in my life that will be remembered for the rest of my life. These are priceless moments for us because they will never be repeated. So I consider it treasure and shared it with my hive friends, which will always save as a record.
This is my attempt to offer you with the best photos and the most beautiful location in Tehran. I hope you enjoy the photographs and the read; if you do, please leave a review in the comment box so that the next post can be even better. Thank you for sticking with me all the way to the finish.
