With the arrival of summer picnic plans and trips toward nature have started again. In my city Quetta the temperature is extremely pleasant and the days of spring have already begun.

If I talk about today’s temperature it is around 15 degrees Celsius which is truly an excellent temperature. It is the kind of day that you can consider perfect for a picnic and enjoying the beauty of nature.

After a long time we planned to take the centres children toward nature because we always try our best to give children more opportunities for recreation during the summer season and at the same time we ourselves also enjoy such beautiful scenery.

That is why we made a plan to go toward the dam and enjoy the natural views there. Along with studies children also need recreation, outdoor fun and playtime so keeping these things in mind we planned that this weekend we would take the children to the dam, arrange lunch for them there, serve them evening tea and then return them safely back home.

There were about five to seven staff members involved in making this plan. We decided that we would go to Dam and set up our camp there where we would properly cook our food items.

For this we needed help from different friends. Some were assigned the duty of arranging cooking pots, mats and other necessary items. Another friend was given the responsibility of arranging meat, tomatoes and all the vegetable supplies.

One friend’s duty was to guide the children and keep a close watch on them while another took responsibility for the route and transportation arrangements.

Why did we choose the dam? Because in my city Quetta it is one of the best natural spots where you can see beautiful mountains, greenery, open fields and a peaceful environment.. It is a place where you can truly feel nature closely and enjoy it deeply. That is the main reason we choose this spot.

That is why we selected the dam which is also not very far from us. If we started walking we could reach this beautiful spot in about half an hour...

This is the beautiful and natural place which is full of greenery. The more I like about this place is that there is more calmness here.

As you can see in the group picture it was a beautiful scene where staff members and students were together and in the background you could clearly see the lovely mountains, trees and wonderful natural beauty.,

We left towards DAM at 1:30 and by walking we reached there in about 30 minutes. As we reached there we started our camping.

Washing the meat, frying it properly, cutting vegetables like tomatoes, onions and cucumbers and then preparing the karahi took a lot of time.. Todays special recipe was chicken karahi which was only possible because of our dear friend Zulqarnain..

He is an excellent chef and he took full responsibility for preparing this recipe. After about two and a half hours our chicken karahi were finally ready.

We spread a large dining sheet, seated all the children together, seated the staff members separately and started serving the food. It was extremely delicious and tasty food which we enjoyed along with cold drinks.

After the meal we also arranged watermelon which is considered one of the best treats during summer season.

After having our meal and eating watermelon it is the time to visit natural places. During this time we also took some pictures which remained with us as memorable moments.

I thought that I should share this travel and tour experience with you friends as well and also mention that managing so many children and taking responsibility for them is not an easy task.
