As soon as the weekend came, the childrenโs interest in going to the park, dam area, and other outings started increasing. They start telling me that weekends have arrived and we have holidays from school and take us towards DAM area.
The kids are small in age, but they understand the weekend very well. And as soon as Saturday or Sunday comes, they start bothering me, saying take us to the playland, DAM, parks, or other historical places.
Because I had promised them that I will take you to the Dam which is a very beautiful and natural area. This dam has beautiful gardens, natural views, Mussa Park which is full of swings, and around the DAM there are trees, greenery, and beautiful mountains too.
The beautiful thing about DAM which I personally like the most is its mountain view and the cool wind that blows all the day. Because there are no such buildings and this place is barren that is why the wind continues to blow the whole day.
These days, the heat is also at its peak, and the temperature is between 35 to 38 degrees, which is extremely hot. I thought the best time for an outing would be 6 in the evening, when the heat reduces a lot and the cool breeze starts blowing.
My 3 daughters, my father, my cousin, and 2 daughters of my sister were with me. In my car, at least 8 people can fit, so after making everyone sit in the car, we headed toward the dam.
From my house to the dam, it's about a 20-minute drive. On the way, beautiful views come that touch the heart. Yesterday, the weather was also very lovely clouds were covering the sky and light rain kept happening from time to time.
In such weather, having black lemon tea is a must and with that, samosas that represent Pakistani culture. And along the way, I also took juices, chips, biscuits, jelly, etc., for the kids.
As soon as we reached there, the kids were filled with happiness. As soon as they got out of the car, they started running and playing. We enjoyed the weather and had a great time.
On one side, the kids kept playing, and on the other side, we elders enjoyed tea, samosas, and the beautiful weather, had chit-chat, and talked about different topics.
During this, I thought to take some memorable pictures and share the beauty of the dam with you all. We spent an amazing time at the dam area, and when it got dark, we thought to head back home. These are the memorable moments of this week that I have saved in the camera.
I hope you find this post interesting and I hope you enjoy it. If you like the post, please leave feedback in the comments section so that the next one will be even better. Thank you for sticking with me until the end.
