Photography: Desolated Tree

I was cleaning my photo mobile album and found a few images that I wanted to get rid of. This is one of them. It is somehow oddly unpleasant to look at. We passed next to this thing during one trip. It reminds me of hope - dry, dead, and desolated.

Note: tree in the picture is nowhere dead, the photo is taken during its dormant time of the year.
