Beautiful photographs and a sad message, the pace of humanity and its ambition will destroy everything in its path someday...
Of all the photographs, I managed to connect with this one, its effect of depth transports me to that mythical place and I imagine it as you describe it in times of yore...

Yes, that photo is perhaps a kind of "to the forest as it was before" vision... It's a pity its usual loss of spaces to be used for crops and livestock... :(
