Un día inolvidable se presentó cuando tuve la oportunidad de impartir clases en el majestuoso Capitolio. Fue entonces, entre sus imponentes columnas y su historia impregnada en cada rincón, que escuché por primera vez el relato del ángel caído del Capitolio. Una historia fascinante que hoy me dispongo a compartir con ustedes, acompañada de increíbles fotos que capturaron aquel mágico momento.
El Ángel Caído o también conocido como el ángel rebelde, representa a Lucifer, el ángel rebelde que desafió a Dios y fue expulsado del cielo. La escultura simboliza la lucha entre el bien y el mal, la caída de un ser celestial y la dualidad entre la luz y la oscuridad. Aunque al observarla es notable que, lejos de representar el momento de la caída del ángel rebelde, nos muestra el instante del levantamiento de Lucifer contra Dios y le vemos con un puño en alto y con la otra mano pegada al pecho, en una postura altanera, reivindicando el trono celestial.

The Fallen Angel or also known as the rebel angel, represents Lucifer, the rebel angel who defied God and was expelled from heaven. The sculpture symbolizes the struggle between good and evil, the fall of a celestial being and the duality between light and darkness. Although when observing it it is notable that, far from representing the moment of the fall of the rebellious angel, it shows us the moment of Lucifer's uprising against God and we see him with one fist raised and the other hand pressed to his chest, in a haughty posture. , claiming the heavenly throne.
