Surabaya Zoo 107 years old with my little family

Hi pinmapple friends. today i want to share about one day holiday with my little family. Yesterday my wife and my son got day off from school, so we decided to Surabaya Zoo in my city that i live. The last time i am going to this zoo maybe around 30-33 years ago when i was a little kid like my son with my mom and dad. But sadly i even dont remember how good this place. As far as i know that this place is very dirty and the place is not nice. Even the crime like pickpocket,thug surrounded this place. But after so many years never going to this place, i think i need to come in to look what changes over the years.

At first, i think this place was not so bad. this place is well maintained. I dont know how this place in weekend but,because yesterday is monday this place seems quite and neater. Not many trash inside.

this place is not really big compared with Secret Zoo in my hometown, maybe it just a quarter of the Secret Zoo. But, it is not bad having zoo in the big city like this. One that make this zoo looks bad because in this city the temperature is very hot and the sun light is very strong, so really this place is very hot. we need using jacket to prevent skin burning from the sunrays.

Mostly the animals here just chilling and take shelter due the temperature and the sunlight. like this peacock it goes to the shadow and just chillin in there.
And in this zoo is hard to take closer picture. They have far range for the divider of the cage.

Even the Ostrich feels sleepy in that moment. Very cute. Goes on into the Komodo Dragon cage

Komodo Dragon is one animal that included in 7 wonders of the world. This giant lizard is like ancient dinosaur. Or maybe it is dinosaur that live and evolutin until today. This animals feel like enjoying in the sunlight. the only animal that enjoying sunlight maybe. It needs sunlight to keep their body temperature. And dont even try to messed up with this animal cause they have poisonus bacteria in their teeth. So thats why we need to brush our teeth right.

I love take this picture. one of the happiest moment that i took. Happy wife means happy kid and also make the husband happy right.

Mostly the animals is sleeping and take hide in the shelter. but the most active animal in this zoo is in the monkeys area

The monkeys even take a swim in the mini lake to cool down the temperature of their body.

But what make this zoo great is the moment that i spent with my little family. Looking and showing my son the animals is pretty fun and great moment.

Even thought that the animal goes to shelter but we can see them and teach my son what the name of the animal and explain him why the animal take the shelters and what they eat and something like that.

Like in the picture above i explained to my son that this cassowary take a bath and drinking in the fountain of water. So, it will be stay hidrated. And also i can tell my son to stay hidrated in this heat and tell him to drink more water to stay healthy.

Here the funny picture of the turtles, They are going into burrow and dont have any space and the backwards turtles has been kicked out by the friend out there.

If only people can more closer to the cage maybe can take a great picture of the falcon and eagle. but yeah maybe it is for the safety for the visitors.

Luckily that i am live and having son when the technology has advanced. So i can take many picture and save it in my Hardisk or even in my social media.
Maybe in few year my son did not even remember this moment. But, i have picture to remember the moment with him.

After looking Mamals area we decided to going back and looking for lunch. But before that i am taking picture of my son looking map to going in lunch restaurants.
