A walk in Strandzha mountain

A month ago, with my mom and our friends, we spent the day in Strandzha mountain, near the village of Zabernovo.

Our walk was very interesting. We saw an ancient oak - blagun, which is about 1000 years old and is the oldest tree in Strandzha.

We began a leisurely journey through the enchanting forest surrounded by towering trees. The chorus of chirping birds and rustling leaves echoes harmoniously.

The tree was situated in a meadow of vibrant flowers that teemed with life and boasted an abundance of wildflowers.

We couldn't help but be captivated by the sheer beauty that unfolded before us.

We continued our walk beyond the captivating forest and found ourselves entering in village Zabernovo. The village exuded a timeless charm, with its small streets and houses.

In front of one of the houses, our eyes were immediately drawn to a whimsical decoration that captured our attention. It was a funny creation made from materials easily found in the surroundings, demonstrating the ingenuity and creativity of the local people.

It was a pleasant trip, with which we took a memory of the greatness of the Strandzha forest and the beauty and traditions of the Bulgarian village.
