Happy monday, friends and readers of Hive.

It is a pleasure and a joy to come to express myself about my family in this beautiful community that has served me a lot, where I have resorted to talk about the beautiful experiences I have lived with my family and friends. I really like to see the positive in almost everything, and even what is a quiet Sunday with my family is for me a beautiful experience worthy of a post. I'm here to tell you about my precious family Sunday with movies, bread and lots of smiles.

Feliz lunes, amistades y lectores de Hive.

Es un placer y un gusto venir a expresarme de mi familia en esta linda comunidad que me ha servido muchísimo, donde he recurrido a hablar de las lindas experiencias que he vivido con mi familia y amigos. De verdad me gusta verle lo positivo a casi todo, e incluso lo que es un domingo tranquilo en familia es para mí una hermosa experiencia digna de un post. Vengo a contarles de mi precioso domingo familiar con películas, panes y muchas sonrisas.

In general, in my family, Sundays are usually sacred, especially when we watch movies, as my brother relates in a post he did, you can read it here. No wonder that yesterday we got down to work early in the morning, deciding what we would prepare for dinner, what movie we would watch and what time we would start all that. The choice wasn't that hard, as I had already seen in the lists of popular movies on Netflix one that caught my eye, starring Lili Reinhart.

I told everyone about the movie, after watching the trailer, and there was no major discussion, everyone agreed. As for dinner, my parents sent me out early in the morning to buy yeast, and around noon they prepared the dough and let it rise, I hope one day I can show you a recipe for the delicious breads we make here at home.

Por lo general, en mi familia, los domingos suelen ser sagrados, en especial cuando vemos películas, tal como lo relata mi hermano en un post que hizo, pueden leerlo aquí. No es de extrañar que el día de ayer nos hayamos puesto manos a la obra desde temprano, a decidir que prepararíamos de cena, que película veríamos y a qué hora empezaríamos todo eso. La elección no fue tan difícil, pues yo ya había visto en las listas de películas populares en Netflix una que llamó mi atención, protagonizada por Lili Reinhart.

Les comenté a todos acerca de la película, luego de haber visto el tráiler, y no hubo mayor discusión, todos estuvieron de acuerdo. En cuanto a la cena, mis padres desde temprano me mandaron a comprar levadura, y a eso del medio día prepararon la masa y la pusieron a reposar para que creciera, espero un día poder mostrarles una receta de los deliciosos panes que hacemos acá en casa.

Once the dough was made, we spent the afternoon resting, each one in their own bed, spending the time lying down, we saw each other sporadically while we waited for a prudent hour to go out to prepare the breads, because not only would we prepare them, but we also talked to each other, made jokes and collaborated in whatever way we could. This time, I wasn't much help, since my dad was preparing and serving the breads (after having baked them) and my mom was preparing the hot chocolate, taking advantage of the rainy day. I leave attached a picture with my mom preparing the hot chocolate and the beautiful cloudy sky, just the perfect weather for a movie Sunday.

Una vez hecha la masa, pasamos la tarde descansando, cada quién en su cama, pasando el rato acostados, nos veíamos esporádicamente mientras esperábamos una hora prudente para salir todos a preparar los panes, porque no solo los prepararíamos, sino que también conversamos entre nosotros, nos echamos chistes y vamos colaborando en lo que podamos. En esta oportunidad, no fui de mucha ayuda, ya que mi papá se dispuso a preparar y servir los panes, (Luego de haberlos horneado) y mi mamita estaba preparando el chocolate caliente, aprovechando que el día estaba lluvioso. Les dejo adjunto foto con mi mamá preparando el chocolate y del lindo cielo nublado, justo el clima perfecto para un domingo de películas.

They put sausage and cheese on the loaves and put them in the oven, the smell of homemade bread in the oven began to torture us. As soon as they took them out of the oven, my mouth was watering, I was quick to record the gif of my dad serving them, but deep down, all I wanted was to take a big bite of the bread, hahaha.

I took some pictures of the bread and they look APPETECIALLY good, in fact, I look at them; I remember the taste of the melted cheese inside the bread and the flavor that the sausage gave it and I feel incredibly hungry. As soon as I took the picture, I took one of the pieces and ate it, because the smell was DELICIOUS.

A los panes le pusieron salchichas y queso y los pusieron a hornear, el olor de pan casero al horno nos empezó a torturar. En cuanto los sacaron del horno, yo estaba que se me hacía agua la boca, no tardé en grabar el gif de mi papá sirviendo, pero en el fondo, lo único que quería era pegarle un gran mordisco al pan, jajaja.

Le saqué unas fotos al pan y se ven APETECIBLES, es más, las veo, recuerdo el sabor del queso derretido dentro del pan y el sabor que le daba la salchicha y se me destapa un hambre increíble. Tan pronto como tomé la foto, tomé uno de los pedazos y me lo comí, porque el olor era DELICIOSO.

Once dinner was served, we settled into our little beds (we glued my siblings' two beds together so we could all get in together, we love being so close to each other watching movies). Each one of us with our freshly baked bread and our thick, hot chocolate, we were ready to play the movie. BUT, not before taking pictures, because it's always nice to show off something as beautiful as family moments (I'm a fan of seeing how people share with their families and fill each other with love, just beautiful).

Just look at our happy faces, about to spend time watching a nice modern rom-com. We were happy with something so simple, we really were. Of course we laughed, especially at my mom when she was falling asleep because she couldn't sleep anymore.

Una vez servida la cena, nos acomodamos en camita (pegamos las dos camas de mis hermanos para poder entrar todos juntos, nos encanta estar tan juntos viendo películas). Cada quién con sus pancitos recién horneados y su chocolate espeso y bien caliente, estábamos listos para darle play a la película. PERO, no sin antes sacarnos fotitos, porque siempre es lindo presumir algo tan hermoso como los gratos momentos en familia (yo soy fan de ver como las personas comparten con sus familias y se llenan de amor, simplemente hermoso).

Miren nada más nuestras caras de felicidad, a punto de pasar el rato viendo una linda comedia romántica moderna. Fuimos felices con algo tan sencillo, de verdad que sí. Por supuesto que nos reímos, en especial de mi mamá cuando se estaba quedando dormida porque ya no aguantaba el sueño.

And how true and wise his words, and how grateful to have read that today. In case anyone in my family reads this (I know at least my mom will), I want them to know that although I often don't tell them in person, I truly and deeply love them and thank God for putting them in my life, because I am truly fortunate to have coincided with such a caring, understanding and loving family, who despite the problems, we always put on a good face and are ready to move forward.
