Fotos de gatitos que no son míos / Photos of kittens that are not mine [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos los amantes de los animalitos, esta semana me quedé sin internet y me dedique a limpiar mi teléfono que está bastante colapsado por la cantidad de fotografías y videos que allí tengo y no termino de borrar. En fin, a medida que iba revisando la galería me di cuenta que tenía varias fotos de gatos que no son míos precisamente y antes de borrarlas y que se pierdan en el infinito vacío quiero compartirlas por aquí para que quedé una prueba de que algún día las tuve.

Hello to all animal lovers, this week I was without internet and I dedicated myself to clean my phone that is quite collapsed by the amount of photos and videos that I have there and I do not finish deleting. Anyway, as I was going through the gallery I realized that I had several pictures of cats that are not exactly mine and before deleting them and they get lost in the infinite emptiness I want to share them here so that I have a proof that I had them one day.

Si hace seis años me hubiesen preguntado si me gustaban los gatos la respuesta sería definitivamente negativa. Esto cambio a partir de que comencé a trabajar en un lugar donde había un gato muy querido por todos, ahí comprendí el amor gatuno y después de eso no hay vuelta atrás. Les presento a Chirri el gato de oficina.

If you had asked me six years ago if I liked cats, the answer would have been definitely negative. This changed when I started working in a place where there was a cat very loved by everyone, there I understood the cat love and after that there is no turning back. I introduce Chirri the office cat.

Después de conocer a Chirri fue que mi gato llegó a la casa y se quedó, no sabíamos de dónde venía, tenia toda la pinta de ser un gatito abandonado así que, nos adoptó como su nueva familia.

After meeting Chirri, my cat came to the house and stayed, we didn't know where he came from, he looked like an abandoned kitten, so he adopted us as his new family.

Ubicado a una hora en carro más dos horas de caminata intensa sobre la montaña y bajo el ardiente sol se encuentra un lugar increíble y lleno de vida conocido como El Diamante, en San Felipe. Allá justamente fui a parar en febrero de este año para ir a acampar y conocer varias cascadas. Antes de llegar al lugar donde armaría la carpa, hicimos una parada en la punta de una montaña donde estaba la casa de uno de los guías que nos llevó al lugar y en esa casa, donde habían gallos, burros y otros animalitos más se encontraba una familia de gatitos curiosos que se asomaban a vernos.

Located one hour by car plus two hours of intense hiking over the mountain and under the hot sun is an incredible place full of life known as El Diamante, in San Felipe. I stopped there in February of this year to go camping and visit several waterfalls. Before arriving at the place where I would set up the tent, we made a stop at the top of a mountain where the house of one of the guides who took us to the place was located and in that house, where there were roosters, donkeys and other animals, there was a family of curious kittens that peeked to see us.

Una vez que fui a visitar la casa de mi abuela en el campo y me tocó quedarme en casa de unos tíos por falta de espacio. Allí dormí en la cama de mi primo que ya no vive con ellos. Cuando amanece me doy cuenta de una bola negra que estaba por mis pies, ese era Trunks que se apropió de la cama de su dueño y yo lo estaba invadiendo. Lastimosamente Trunks ya murió.

Once I went to visit my grandmother's house in the countryside and I had to stay at my aunt and uncle's house due to lack of space. There I slept in the bed of my cousin who no longer lives with them. At dawn I noticed a black ball that was by my feet, that was Trunks who took over his owner's bed and I was invading it. Unfortunately Trunks has already died.

En cada viaje que hago termino encontrando animales, sean perros o gatos que son los más comunes o guacamayas, burros, chivos y pare de contar. Este señor gato me lo encontré en una visita rápida que están haciendo junto a unos amigos a la Posada El Encanto en Sanare. Yo quedé encantada con el y más porque es igualito a mi gato.

In every trip I make I end up finding animals, be they dogs or cats, which are the most common, or macaws, donkeys, goats and so on. I found this cat during a quick visit with some friends to the Posada El Encanto in Sanare. I was delighted with him and even more because he looks just like my cat.

Una semana del mes de agosto hice un viaje junto a mi hermano a dos regiones diferentes del país. Primero fue a los Andes, allí me topé con este gatito que escalaba una cerca del terminal de pasajeros de Mérida. Después de eso, seguimos a las playas de Choroni dónde fuimos a visitar un bar - galería de arte, para nuestra grata sorpresa afuera del local habían dos gatos con mucho amor para dar.

One week in August I took a trip with my brother to two different regions of the country. First was to the Andes, there I came across this kitten climbing a fence at the passenger terminal in Merida. After that, we continued to the beaches of Choroni where we went to visit a bar - art gallery, to our pleasant surprise outside the place there were two cats with a lot of love to give.

Ayer estuve todo el día en la calle y en la tarde que regresaba a mi casa en el bus, se sentó a mi lado una señora que llevaba en sus manos una “cosa” muy envuelta. A los minutos me doy cuenta que esa cosa era una pequeña gatita a la que le darían un nuevo hogar.

Yesterday I was out on the street all day and in the afternoon when I was returning home on the bus, a lady sat next to me carrying in her hands a very wrapped "thing". After a few minutes I realized that this thing was a little kitten that was going to be given a new home.

Una vez un gato llegaba a mi casa y comenzamos a alimentarlo, así fue como decidió quedarse con nosotros y hace cinco años de eso. Ahora, a otro gato que se la pasaba vagando en la calle también comencé a darle comida, el si estaba más hambriento y empezó incluso a meterse a la casa. Fue un proceso de sacarlo, de darle la comida en la calle, pero era tan persistente que un día simplemente nos cansamos y lo dejamos dentro. Ahora no volvió a salir de la casa.

El es Fifi que nos enteramos después que es de los vecinos.

Once a cat came to my house and we started feeding him, that's how he decided to stay with us and it's been five years since then. Now, another cat that was wandering in the street I also started to give him food, he was hungrier and even started to come into the house. It was a process of taking him out, giving him food in the street, but he was so persistent that one day we just got tired of it and left him inside. Now he never came out of the house again.

He is Fifi who we found out later belongs to the neighbors.

Desde que tengo un gato ya no puedo dejar de ver a todos los gatos en la calle, es como si hubiese desarrollado un sensor en mi cerebro que sin darme cuenta me lleva con los felinos dónde quiera que me encuentre. Y sinceramente soy muy feliz con eso.

Ahora que ya quedan pruebas de que algún día tome estás fotografías puedo borrarlas tranquilamente de mi teléfono y liberar espacio para seguir tomando más fotos 😅.

Since I got a cat I can't stop seeing all the cats in the street, it's as if I have developed a sensor in my brain that without realizing it takes me to the felines wherever I am. And honestly I'm very happy with that.

Now that there is proof that one day I will take these pictures I can delete them quietly from my phone and free up space to continue taking more pictures 😅.
