Hola viajeros espero que esten muy bien en cualquier parte del mundo en la que se encuentren, el día de hoy quiero contarles sobre un viaje que realice hace algún tiempo a un pueblito de Venezuela llamado Calderas, dónde tuve el reto de conocer cuatro destinos en un mismo día.
Hello travelers, I hope you are very well wherever you are in the world, today I want to tell you about a trip I made some time ago to a small town in Venezuela called Calderas, where I had the challenge to visit four destinations in the same day.
Sin miedo al éxito / No fear of success
El día anterior habíamos llegado a un pueblo del estado Barinas llamado Calderas. Este estado pertenece a los llanos venezolanos, sin embargo Calderas forma parte de la cordillera de los Andes, por eso es más montañoso y se puede disfrutar de un clima bastante agradable.
Tuvimos que llegar a la posada el día anterior al que haríamos la ruta para poder comenzar súper temprano. La idea del guía llamado Carlos era poder conocer los lugares en el menor tiempo posible, ya que al siguiente día debíamos regresar súper temprano a Barquisimeto (ciudad donde vivo).

The day before we had arrived in a town in the state of Barinas called Calderas. This state belongs to the Venezuelan plains, however Calderas is part of the Andes mountain range, so it is more mountainous and you can enjoy a fairly pleasant climate.
We had to arrive at the inn the day before we would do the route to start super early. The idea of the guide named Carlos was to get to know the places in the shortest time possible, since the next day we had to return super early to Barquisimeto (city where I live).
Lo primero que hicimos esa mañana fue ir a la plaza del pueblo a buscar tres mototaxis que nos llevarían al inicio de la ruta y si mal no recuerdo nos cobraron 10 USD por un recorrido de aproximadamente media hora. En este viaje solo andaba con mi hermano y el guía que se hizo nuestro pana.
The first thing we did that morning was to go to the town square to pick up three motorcycle cabs that would take us to the beginning of the route and if I remember correctly they charged us 10 USD for a ride of about half an hour. On this trip I was only riding with my brother and the guide who became our friend.
La primera ruta era a una cascada llamada La Volcanera, el camino es muy rocoso y según nos contaba Carlos el nombre del lugar es porque muchas de esas rocas a los alrededores tienen una coloración oscura como el carbón.

The first route was to a waterfall called La Volcanera, the road is very rocky and according to Carlos told us the name of the place is because many of those rocks around have a dark color like coal.
As you go on you will find several small wells where we did not miss the opportunity to get in to enjoy the cold water.
Después de un corto tiempo caminando por fin podíamos ver la gran cascada.
After a short time walking we could finally see the big waterfall.
Luego de un rato de bañarnos, tomar las fotos necesarias y contemplar la inmensidad del lugar seguimos a nuestra segunda parada del día, Pozo Azúl.
After a while of bathing, taking the necessary photos and contemplating the immensity of the place we continued to our second stop of the day, Pozo Azúl.
Lleno de misterio y encanto este pozo se roba toda la atención de la ruta. Un agua totalmente azul y quieta, porque si viajeros ese pozo tiene una quietud inexplicable, cerca se escucha la corriente de agua que alimenta al pozo y aún así permanece inmóvil.
Full of mystery and charm this well steals all the attention of the route. A totally blue and still water, because if travelers that well has an inexplicable stillness, nearby you can hear the flow of water that feeds the well and still remains motionless.

Aquí solo se puede estar en paz. De hecho hay varias creencias con respecto a este lugar y una de ellas es que no todo el mundo lo puede ver con claridad así como está en la foto, se dice que si las personas entran con un escándalo o molestos o con malas intenciones el pozo se cubre en su totalidad de vegetación.

Here you can only be in peace. In fact there are several beliefs regarding this place and one of them is that not everyone can see it clearly as it is in the photo, it is said that if people enter with a scandal or annoying or with bad intentions the well is covered in its entirety of vegetation.
I was concentrating on clearing my mind of any bad thoughts, just in case.
Eran casi las tres de la tarde cuando llegamos a la posada La molienda, está era una parada necesaria para almorzar e ir al baño. Lo bueno de viajar con gente de la zona, como nuestro guía, es que conoce a todo el pueblo y Carlos muy amablemente le pidió a una señora de la posada que nos preparara una comida caliente.
It was almost three o'clock in the afternoon when we arrived at the posada La Molienda, this was a necessary stop for lunch and to go to the bathroom. The good thing about traveling with local people, like our guide, is that he knows the whole town and Carlos very kindly asked a lady at the posada to prepare a hot meal for us.
La tercera ruta del día era la cascada Las Monjas. Como en todas estas aguas frías que visitamos, no dudamos ni un minuto en sumergirnos y disfrutar libremente de la naturaleza que teníamos solo para nosotros tres.
The third route of the day was the waterfall Las Monjas. As in all these cold waters we visited, we did not hesitate for a minute to dive in and freely enjoy the nature we had only for us three.
Cercano a la anterior cascada se encuentra Velo de la novia, nuestro último lugar a visitar ese día. Se trata principalmente de una gigantesca piedra por dónde se desliza un chorro agua que puede llegar a parecerse a las telas transparentes que usan para dichos vestidos. Sinceramente no sé si esa es la razón por la que le llaman así, pero es lo que a mí me parece.
Near the previous waterfall is Velo de la novia, our last place to visit that day. It is mainly a gigantic stone through which a stream of water slides that may resemble the transparent fabrics used for such dresses. I honestly don't know if that's the reason why they call it that, but that's what it looks like to me.

Después de un exitoso día de senderismo y a pesar del cansancio que teníamos los tres luego de caminar por lo mínimo una hora para llegar nuevamente a la posada donde nos estábamos hospedando, nos fuimos un momento al pueblo a ver dónde encontrábamos carne, claro en el proceso también le dimos una probada a una refrescante cerveza Zulia.
After a successful day of hiking and in spite of the tiredness that the three of us had after walking for at least an hour to get back to the posada where we were staying, we went to town for a moment to see where we could find some meat, and in the process we also had a taste of a refreshing Zulia beer.
Bueno viajeros así fue como logramos conocer cuatro rutas distintas en un solo día. Cuando estoy frente a lugares tan increíbles como estos me doy el tiempo de admirar su belleza y de respirar ese aire puro que solo se puede conseguir allí ¿Ustedes también lo hacen?

Well travelers that's how we managed to know four different routes in one day. When I am in front of places as incredible as these I take the time to admire their beauty and breathe that pure air that you can only get there Do you do it too?

Qué buen viaje y es toda una sorpresa que las dos publiquemos sobre el mismo pueblo de Calderas casi al mismo tiempo, yo también hice esa ruta, pero con mucha gente un autobús completo y nos quedamos dos días porque también conocí otros lugares que reseñe en otros post.
Se nota que comiste sabroso y la pasaste bien, me gusta mucho una de las últimas fotos donde apareces sentada en el velo de novia. Yo fui a otras posadas.

What a great trip and it is a surprise that we both publish about the same town of Calderas almost at the same time, I also did that route, but with many people a full bus and we stayed two days because I also met other places that I reviewed in other posts.
I can tell you ate tasty and had a good time, I really like one of the last pictures where you appear sitting on the bridal veil. I went to other posadas.

Wooow @arteyviajes tu ruta fue maravillosa por lo visto, que increíbles lugares, me encanto el pozo azul, realmente por esa historia no tomaria baño en ese lugar por respeto y un poco de miedito, es muy loco que este tan quieto jajaja pero definitivamente valió el cansancio me imagino.
A mi también me encanta tomarme mi tiempo en lugares así para meditar y reflexionar con respecto a mi vida y pues nada mejor que terminar con una zulia jajajaj gracias por compartir.
