Hola a todos espero hayan pasado un muy Feliz año nuevo. Hoy quiero comenzar en esta comunidad recapitulando como fue mi 2023, que si no es por la galería de fotos del teléfono no recordaría muchas de la cosas que sucedieron ese año, pero bueno comienzo con este cuento.

Enero es un mes por lo general tranquilo, de recuperación emocional y económica y de comenzar nuevamente con las rutinas. En este mes recibí una noticia que me lleno de mucha alegría, había sido una de las ganadoras de un concurso de fotografía que estaba haciendo la alcaldía de la ciudad donde vivo.
Por supuesto que me emocioné mucho, primero porque no me imaginé en ningún momento ser seleccionada y segundo por qué el premio sería en efectivo (con ese efectivo saque el pasaporte).

January is usually a quiet month, a month of emotional and economic recovery and of starting routines again. This month I received some news that filled me with great joy, I had been one of the winners of a photography contest that the mayor's office of the city where I live was organizing.
Of course I was very excited, first because I never imagined I would be selected and second because the prize would be in cash (with that cash I got my passport).
En febrero si comencé a rodar por carretera y fui a tachar de mi lista de vida el tomarme una foto en medio de un campo de girasoles, llevaba años queriendo hacer esto, pero fue en 2023 dónde por fin pude dar el paso e irme en un Tour.
En este mes también participé en exposiciones de arte y me fui a acampar en carnaval en medio de las montañas del estado Yaracuy a un lugar llamado El Diamante y dónde por primera vez me bañe encuerada.

In February I did start riding on the road and went to cross off my bucket list to take a photo in the middle of a sunflower field, I had been wanting to do this for years, but it was in 2023 where I finally took the plunge and went on a Tour.
During this month I also participated in art exhibitions and I went camping during carnival in the middle of the mountains of Yaracuy state to a place called El Diamante, where for the first time I bathed stripped.

En marzo llegó el día de la mujer y con ello mi primera participación en una exposición de arte en la galería Braulio Salazar ubicada en el Club de Golf de Barquisimeto. Estos tiempos fueron de mucho arte y compartir con otras mujeres artistas.
In March women's day arrived and with it came my first participation in an art exhibition at the Braulio Salazar gallery located in the Barquisimeto Golf Club. These were times of much art and sharing with other women artists.
La hora de actualizar las fotos con My Friends fue en abril para celebrar el cumpleaños de la Luz del grupo. Ese día decidimos hacer un tour cervecero terminando en el lugar donde la cerveza nos salía a un precio amigable.
Revisando la galería también me di cuenta que Fifi (el gato de la vecina) comenzó a meterse a mi casa a robarle la comida a Roberto (mi gato).

The time to update the photos with My Friends was in April to celebrate the birthday of the Light of the group. That day we decided to go on a beer tour ending up at the place where the beer was at a friendly price.
Checking the gallery I also noticed that Fifi (the neighbor's cat) started to sneak into my house to steal Roberto's (my cat) food.
Ir al campo a visitar a mi familia materna me gusta, sin embargo a medida que pasan los años es algo que hago con menos frecuencia. En esta ocasión, fui en mayo por unos velorios a San Juan que hacen allá y quería hacer registro fotográfico. Estos días me regalaron hermosos atardeceres.
I like going to the countryside to visit my mother's family, but as the years go by it is something I do less frequently. On this occasion, I went in May for some wakes in San Juan and I wanted to take a photographic record. These days gave me beautiful sunsets.
Junio fue un mes para seguir trabajando con las clases de arte porque pronto iniciaba la temporada vacacional. En este mes también asistí por primera vez a un juego de básquet de Guaros de Lara y siguiendo con el registro de la tradición de San Juan me fui a Duaca el día 24 para ver con se celebran estás fiestas donde es patrono el Santo.
June was a month to continue working with the art classes because the holiday season was starting soon. In this month I also attended for the first time a basketball game of Guaros de Lara and following the record of the tradition of San Juan I went to Duaca on the 24th to see how they celebrate these festivities where the saint is the patron saint.
El siguiente mes comenzó con un viaje en carro en un día feriado a Sanare y luego al Tocuyo. Pero lo que más destacó en julio fue el campamento al Empedrado. Ubicado en el municipio Torres del estado Lara, fue una ruta de camping en la que tocó esforzarse más de lo previsto, dónde la caminata se hizo de noche y sobre todo dónde se disfruto bastante cada pozo y cascada que allí se encontraba.
The following month began with a trip by car on a holiday to Sanare and then to Tocuyo. But the highlight of July was the camping trip to Empedrado. Located in the Torres municipality in the state of Lara, it was a camping route in which we had to work harder than expected, where the hike was done at night and above all where we enjoyed every well and waterfall that was there.

Finalizando agosto comenzó una buena temporada viajera a estados más retirados de mi ubicación. Además, está última mitad del año fue de primeras veces.
The end of August marked the beginning of a good travel season to states farther away from my location. In addition, this last half of the year was one of firsts.
Por ejemplo fue la primera vez que ví la nieve. En este viaje a Mérida que hice con mi hermano pude apreciar este bonito evento natural como es la nieve, además de eso, también alimente colibríes, explore un bosque encantado y conocí a un hermano de mi papá que vive allá.
For example, it was the first time I saw snow. On this trip to Merida that I made with my brother I was able to appreciate this beautiful natural event as snow, besides that, I also fed hummingbirds, explored an enchanted forest and met my dad's brother who lives there.
El siguiente viaje se dió los primeros dias de septiembre y fue a un lugar que me enamoró desde el primer momento. En Choroní conocí personas con historias interesantes que en todo momento nos mostraron con amabilidad cada rincón del pueblo. Y la playa bueno, la costa de Aragua es increíblemente hermosa.
The next trip took place in the first days of September and it was to a place that I fell in love with from the first moment. In Choroní I met people with interesting stories that at all times showed us with kindness every corner of the town. And the beach, well, the coast of Aragua is incredibly beautiful.
Este mes también tuve la oportunidad de conocer el oriente del país. Llevábamos tiempo organizando este viaje que sería por lo menos de 6 días, puesto que desde Barquisimeto es bien retirado, fueron por lo menos 14hrs en bus.
Allá comí pescado en distintas presentaciones y explore también varias playas del parque nacional Mochima.

This month I also had the opportunity to visit the east of the country. We had been organizing this trip for some time, which would take at least 6 days, since it is quite far from Barquisimeto, it was at least 14hrs by bus.
There I ate fish in different presentations and also explored several beaches of the Mochima National Park.

De regreso de Anzoátegui también pase un día en Caracas haciendo un tour express. Pero en octubre regrese nuevamente para participar en una actividad artística realizada en una quinta por El Cafetal. En este viaje recuerdo que pase por lo menos unas 48hrs son dormir.

On my way back from Anzoátegui I also spent a day in Caracas doing an express tour. But in October I returned again to participate in an artistic activity held in a farm in El Cafetal. On this trip I remember that I spent at least 48hrs without sleeping.

De noviembre no tengo mucho que comentarles, más allá de estar súper pegada viendo los juegos de La vinotinto y de seguir trabajando en las clases de arte, eso no paro durante el año. Ah! También comencé con los eventos de arte para adultos.
I don't have much to tell you about November, other than being super glued to watching the La Vinotinto games and continuing to work on the art classes, which I don't stop during the year. Ah! I also started with the art events for adults.
Llegó diciembre / December arrived
Y con eso mi cumpleaños que está vez decidí celebrarlo en Choroni junto a mis amigas. Esos días disfrutamos de más bañarnos en agua salada. Otra cosa de diciembre que me tocó hacer fue encargarme de la organización de la cena navideña de la familia, hice un registro fotográfico del proceso de elaboración de la chicha navideña y me fui de viaje a la fiesta de la Zaragoza en Sanare.
And with that my birthday, which this time I decided to celebrate in Choroni with my friends. Those days we enjoyed swimming in salt water. Another thing I had to do in December was to take care of the organization of the family Christmas dinner, I made a photographic record of the process of elaboration of the Christmas chicha and I went on a trip to the Zaragoza party in Sanare.
Este 2023, fue un año lleno de muchos viajes, mucho arte, trabajos en clases y aunque a veces me da por pensar que no logré nada, que estoy estancada en un solo punto solo me basta revisar la galería de mi teléfono. También fue un año de reforzar amistades, reencontrarme con otras y conocer nuevas personas que aportan de buena forma a mi vida.
This 2023, was a year full of many trips, a lot of art, class work and although sometimes I think that I have not achieved anything, that I am stuck in a single point, I just need to check the gallery on my phone. It was also a year of strengthening friendships, reconnecting with others and meeting new people who contribute in a good way to my life.
Espero este 2024 seguir trabajando para lograr lo que deseo, más viajes, más arte, mejores relaciones, mejores hábitos, nuevas pasiones.
I hope this 2024 to continue working to achieve what I want, more travel, more art, better relationships, better habits, new passions.
