Cloth Arts 1

Hello hive, it is good to be here again. I want to share with you the paintings i did on cloth during the week. It was a great experience. In my journey as an artist, i decided to switch into something different in my artwork.

I sew some fantastic shirts and created a simple designs on it. It all started by painting African map on the T-shirts. The inspiration behind this work was my passion for creating African designs on clothes. For me to do that, i first of all drew the map on the t shirt.

Then, i gave it some time to dry for 30mins. After it has dried, i decided to mix my tone of colours to draw the motif related to African culture. I used both line design, plant, animal, abstract, and figure motif. I also arranged everything in a creative manner.
