The Watcher and the Watched
There’s something surreal about this moment. A person stares into a mirror that reflects them from a distance, yet they are also present just outside of it, observing quietly. Are they watching themselves or someone else entirely?
The shadowed figure adds weight to the scene, making the line between subject and observer blurry. The mirrored world feels distant, yet strangely more alive than the present moment in the shadows.
A candid street scene captured in black and white, somewhere between presence and absence, self and reflection. My self in the back and my partner shine on up front.
