The Old House and the Light That Came Inside – Mini Photo Series
There’s something haunting and beautiful about forgotten places.
This series was born while walking through an old, almost forgotten house. Each corner seemed to whisper stories. Light pushed through broken shutters, bounced off cracked tiles, slid across rusted metal and torn wallpaper. It wasn’t just light—it was memory.
Every beam carried something. A shadow. A trace. A breath.
This is a study in textures, time, and the quiet poetry of places we leave behind.
Shot across several rooms, each frame captures the way light insists on entering, even when the doors are barely open. This house was dammed to destruction and I got access from the architect that was about to rebuild it, I had the chance to walk about (no one has been living there for decades) and shoot for hours all the fallen walls and broken floors, things that left behind and the memories that lingered around.
This is the beginning of a new series I call The Old House and the Light That Came Inside.
More to come.
