I need Water – Black and White Photography
This series is my personal study of water, in all its forms.
Captured with my oldschool Nikon D40, in different parts of the world.
Each image holds a quiet moment of connection, a visual meditation on nature.
I have always been amazed by how water transforms itself,
from flowing waves to frozen silence,
from chaotic foam to delicate reflections,
each state shaped by light and time.
Water carries both power and peace.
The energy of crashing oceans.
The calm of a still lake.
The sharp shine of ice, like time frozen.
The silent mirror of a puddle catching the sky.
In black and white, water becomes even more mysterious.
Its textures rise to the surface,
its contrasts deepen,
its voice gets louder.
Without color, the essence is clearer.
Form, tone, shadow and reflection take center stage.
I never get tired of photographing water.
It keeps changing,
and so do I.
