Glitched Horizon – A View from Above
Glitched Horizon – A View from Above
While flying above the clouds, I captured what was meant to be a simple wing shot at sunset. But the final result was something else entirely. A glitch in processing turned the smooth sky into a pixelated dreamscape. The wing fractured, the clouds stacked like digital brushstrokes, and the sunset bled in surreal orange bands across the horizon.
This unexpected distortion transformed the ordinary into something layered and abstract, reminding me that even errors can create beauty. It feels like a moment suspended between worlds, part flight, part code, part imagination.
Shot on a Nikon D40 / 18-55MM 3.5F LENS / through the airplane window. Edited slightly but the glitch effect appeared naturally. No filters added.
