Carved in Stone – A Study of Silent Stories / Still Life Photography

Stone holds still
But it speaks.

This set is part of my ongoing curiosity about human expression in inanimate form. I wandered through parks, plazas, and gardens, drawn to these statues carved in silence, each telling its own story without words.

From children playing to guardians of the past, from vulnerable moments to defiant stares, these sculptures reflect a range of emotions frozen in time.

Shot over the years in different countries, this project is about pausing, observing, and listening to the stillness.
