A Moment of Joy – Gab in the Sun

This is my friend Gab, caught mid-stretch on a crisp day in northern Quebec. Just the two of us, deep in nature, no city noise, no pressure. We breathed in the fresh air, soaked up the sunlight, and lived fully in the moment.

Shot with my Nikon D40 and a 50mm lens, this image holds more than just light and color. I found magic in her smile, in the ease of that movement, in the joy she carries so effortlessly. Her energy, her laughter, her presence—it all felt like a perfect reflection of the freedom we found out there.

Sometimes all it takes is sun on your face and a quiet place to remember what happiness looks like.
