Unexpected conditions, unexpected opportunity / Niespodziewane warunki, niespodziewana okazja [ENG/PL]

We were approaching the border crossing between Poland and Slovakia in Jurgów, returning from trekking to Skrajne Solisko. We were then in the vicinity of Zdiar, a Slovak village located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains.

Zbliżaliśmy się do przejścia granicznego w Jurgowie, wracając z trekkingu na Skrajne Solisko. Byliśmy wtedy w okolicach Zdiaru, czyli Słowackiej miejscowości leżącej u podnóża Tatr.

I can't say for sure whether it was already a full golden hour or if it was about to begin. However, I know that the conditions were very good if not great.

Nie mogę z całą pewnością stwierdzić czy była już pełnoprawna złota godzina, czy dopiero miała się rozpocząć. Wiem jednak, że warunki były bardzo dobre jeśli nie świetne.

The camera rested safely in the backpack on the back seat of the car. It still had battery reserves and free space on the memory card. All the signs in heaven and on earth (literally and figuratively), therefore, ordered one thing - to stop the car immediately.

I found a cove by the road, took my camera out of my backpack and ran into the meadow under the roadway. Time was pressing, conditions were changing quite dynamically.

Aparat spoczywał bezpiecznie w plecaku na tylnej kanapie samochodu. Wciąż miał rezerwy baterii i wolną przestrzeń na karcie pamięci. Wszystkie znaki na niebie i ziemi (dosłownie i w przenośni), nakazywały więc jedno - natychmiast zatrzymać samochód.

Znalazłem zatoczkę przy drodze, wyjąłem aparat z plecaka i wbiegłem na łąkę pod jezdnią. Czas naglił, warunki zmieniały się dość dynamicznie.

The main subject of these photos are the Bielskie Tatras, which are the easternmost part of the entire Tatras.

Głównym tematem tych zdjęć są Tatry Bielskie, które są najbardziej na wschód wysuniętą częścią całych Tatr.

In the photo above you can see, among other things, the two highest peaks of this piece of the Tatra Mountains - on the left Płaczliwa Skała (2142m above sea level) and the adjacent to it on the right Hawrań (2152m above sea level).

Na powyższym zdjęciu możecie zobaczyć między innymi dwa najwyższe szczyty tego skrawka Tatr - z lewej strony Płaczliwą Skałę (2142m n.p.m.) i sąsiadujący z nią po prawej Hawrań (2152m n.p.m).

The ridge and peaks of the mountains were covered with low clouds or fog. I never know for sure how to define it. Maybe both versions fit here?

Grań i szczyty gór pokrywały niskie chmury bądź mgła. Nigdy nie wiem na pewno jak to określić. Być może obie wersje tu pasują?

On the one hand, it is a pity that the peaks did not show up in full, but on the other hand, there is a bit of an interesting mystery in it. Because the mountains are mysterious and I always thought they were.

Z jednej strony szkoda, że szczyty nie pokazały się w całości, ale z drugiej, jest w tym nieco ciekawej tajemniczości. Bo góry są tajemnicze i zawsze je za takie uważałem.
