Red Clover Fields / Pola Czerwonej Koniczyny [ENG//PL]

🇬🇧 One trip, countless photographic opportunities. That is how I would sum up our visit to Slovakia, which I have already written about in two previous posts. However, this post won't be the final wrap-up on #hive; I still have plenty of photos to share.
Wciąż mam sporo zdjęć do pokazania.

🇬🇧 Fields of crimson clover near the Tatra Mountains were an absolute sensation this spring. I’d say a real craze took hold. Once the first photos of those red blossoms set against the backdrop of the Tatras appeared on Instagram, people flocked to Slovakia in droves to see the sight for themselves and show off their own photos.

🇬🇧 At one point, my Instagram feed was nothing but photos of this clover. It completely overshadowed the rapeseed fields this year! Until now, every spring, Instagram was a sea of yellow rapeseed; this year, it turned red.

🇬🇧 Unfortunately, we arrived a bit late, and the clover blossoms were already past their peak, though the fields still looked truly beautiful.

🇬🇧 We managed to see two fields full of these flowers. The first one we found was right by the main road, and we encountered plenty of other people there with cameras and smartphones in hand. The second one was hidden. My wife found its location through an Instagrammer, and it turned out that doing a bit more in-depth research was worth it. There was no one there. We had the whole field to ourselves!

🇬🇧 In addition to numerous landscape shots, I naturally also did an extensive portrait session for my wife. She loves that kind of floral aesthetic and really wanted a shoot like this. I couldn't say no to her.
🇵🇱 Oprócz licznych zdjęć krajobrazowych zrobiłem też oczywiście obszerną sesję portretową dla żony. Ona uwielbia takie klimaty z kwiatami i bardzo chciała taką sesję. Nie mogłem jej odmówić.

🇬🇧 Other fields also caught my eye - those covered in a carpet of young grain that looked so incredibly "soft" I would have gladly lain down on it.

🇬🇧 The greenery was so pleasing that it was hard to tear one's eyes away from it.

🇬🇧 Tracks left by agricultural vehicles crisscrossed the fields, creating far more interesting photographic opportunities for a casual photographer like me.

🇬🇧 And certainly not the first or last of the day, for that matter. I think I can safely say that this has been one of the most productive days—in terms of the number of subjects and motifs I’ve stumbled upon—since I’ve owned a digital camera.
🇬🇧 Finally, a few selected photos in black and white.
🇵🇱 Na koniec kilka wybranych zdjęć w wersji czarno-białej.

Lovely shots. At first I liked the colored ones the most, but the black and white ones with the tracks are also very cool.
Thanks, my friend.
It was actually those tracks that initially tempted me to see how the photos would look in B&W. Originally, I only intended to show those specific shots in black and white.
Love your photos. The poppies seem a lot darker than the ones in the UK.
Thank you very much! Those aren't poppies in the photos - they're clover flowers. That might be why they look different :)
Sorry, I saw fields of red and my mind went straight to poppies! They look lovely, anyway.
That’s all right. Red flowers often make me think of poppies right away, too. Or tulips.
lovely landscape photography you got here !
Hi! Thank you very much for your comment and I appreciate it.
The areas on the border of Poland and Slovakia abound in such landscapes. It is a very mountainous area with many mountain ranges.
i've never traveld that far east , maybe one day i'll drive there from Holland .
A long way, but I think it's worth it.
Its a Paradide!!! I seriously love all the photos. Each one has that positive vibe on it. I also love the shots of the green fields, where the mountains and the sky was shown. This is the kind of place I wanna live in, if given the chance ( ◜‿◝ )
Thank you very much for your kind words.
It is definitely a great place to live.
