I distinguish between two types of photographers. There are those who, to capture the perfect shot, need to stop in one spot and meticulously plan a specific scene. The second type consists of those who need to take dozens of photos, shooting everything around them, to get that one great shot. I can see that we both belong to this second group. And you’re right: if you feel the urge or the need to photograph everything, you shouldn't limit yourself. Everyone has their own path to growth; you just have to find it and follow it.

I definitely belong to the second group. 😊 Although these days I take far fewer photos than I used to, the percentage of keepers is much higher. In my case, it's also a bit more challenging because I shoot exclusively with a smartphone. On bright, sunny days the screen is often hard to see, so I can't always tell exactly what I'm capturing. That's why I usually take a few extra shots, just to make sure I'll have something to choose from later.
I understand with this preview. I often don't look at the final photo at all, especially when traveling, when time counts. I just "shoot" and either it will come out or it doesn't.
