Most of the fruit stalls were of oranges because it was the end of the orange season. High quality oranges were selling at Rs 150 per kg. Also bought 2 kg of oranges for 300 rupees. After that I saw that apples were selling for 250 rupees per kg. Similarly, pomegranates were selling for 400 rupees per kg, while strawberries, whose season has not yet started, were selling for 600 rupees per kg. But when the season starts, its price is very low because it is a perishable fruit. I remember very well last time its price was 80 to 100 rupees per kg. The fall was reduced, more bananas were selling at Rs 100 per dozen and guavas were selling at Rs 120 per kg.
