Rescue and release of Boa constrictor snake

A week ago a guy close to the community where I live had in his hands a Boa constrictor in VENEZUELA popularly called Traga Venados. I decided to approach him and tell him to give me the snake to take care of it and take it to my house on @vida.verde.ve IG .

We decided to place it in the Kener of our cat with some straw and water, with nothing else to offer since I did not have a rodent or similar animal to feed the snake we waited 2 days until we got rid of some planting work to release in the same vicinity to this beautiful species.

So we had the afternoon to uncover the Kener and let the Boa free. I took the opportunity to take some videos and pictures that you can see in this publication. It was a tense moment because we were nervous and so was the snake. However, I got so excited that I took advantage of the moment to take a picture of it. Currently I only have a cell phone to record everything around me. If I had a telephoto macro lens I could have taken more detailed images. Still I feel it was worth it.

The snake went down one of the slopes of our grounds and I deduce that it must not have gone that far and is probably living nearby in a tree as its habits include spending a lot of time on a tree branch.
