I love the rainy season. Living in a tropical and megadiverse country is one of the most beautiful life experiences the world can give me.

As the drops fall I can't wait for the rain to stop and go out to see what has happened. It is always common to see mushrooms as well as birds that come out to eat and sing for joy because of the rain.

This time my Water Lily is blooming and I have seen some new mushrooms that I have been uploading to different posts.

I am excited because I already have in my hands the first reel of Kodak Gold ASA200 analog film which I will use to release a camera that is on its way. I have purchased some equipment to restart my photography project.

The reality is that I had proposed to buy a state of the art camera but it meant a huge expense of money that I don't have in my hands. We are talking about 15k usd if I put a good lens in the shopping cart.

So thinking about what to do I decided to go back to my beginnings in analog photography. It is a budget that I can afford even if the development and digitalization is very complicated and expensive in the long run.

So here we go again. Going back to my origins in photography is more exciting than I thought. I've been reviewing everything technically but I know it will be super fun to start all over again.

Here are some images of one of the cameras that will accompany me on this journey.

For the moment I plan to do color and black and white nature photography. Birds, insects, reptiles, fungi, flowers that surround me. It is an advantage to be able to live in a wooded area. Then I will start to make a list of places in the city to take advantage of doing architectural photography, street photography, portrait photography and anything else that passes in front of my camera.

I bought a 50mm 1.4, a 205mm 3.5 telephoto lens and a 100mm 2.8 all from Minolta as the model you are seeing in this publication.
