Reflection Hunters 152 | Some Reflections from the Mosque

Masjid Reflections

I have been wanting to go around this mosque at the Capital Park. This is a fairly new one perhaps constructed right about the same time the perimeter fences of the Capital Park was removed.

So I took the chance to go around and check it out as the kids were at the playground. It was a sunny day, in a cool January. A perfect day of a shadow hunt and of course, a reflection hunt, too!

Mouza Abdulla Mohammed Alswueidi Masjid is located at the corner of the Capital Park- Muroor Road corner Khalifa Street.

The sun was directly hitting the glass wall panels of the mosque and it created a reflection of the buildings in front of it.

I was contemplating if I were to share these for Shadow Hunters, but hey, the reflections here are nice too. 😉

The buildings also reflected on this side of the wall, although the intricate patterns on the glass are also still very visible.

The mosque design is also modern and is not very similar to the mosques that have been around longer.

Looking at these photos alone, without actually knowing that it is a mosque, I would think that it is a typical building, not a place of worship.

In the photo below, the glass relected on the pavement. Did you also notice that shine?

I found it cool, and I think that was really about the time that I decided that these photos would be for my reflection hunt entry! 🤭

That is all for today, I guess. This is my entry to this week's reflection hunt.

The first image is my photo entry.

And oh. Before I go...

Here's how the mosque looks like as viewed from the park.
