The old castle of the city of Cumaná / El antiguo castillo de la ciudad de cumaná [Esp/Eng]

Siento mucha afinidad tomando fotos a espacios que me llenan de una energía pura, también, cualquier sentimiento que me transmita un momento, una vez me dijeron “una fotografía puede decir más que mil palabras” y quizás, ya que es un arte y puede transmitir más de un sentimiento, quiero hacer lo que amo, como tomar fotos, pues el otro día me invitaron a salir en la tarde a caminar hacia el castillo antiguo de la ciudad, ver el atardecer y tomar fotos del lugar.

I feel a lot of affinity taking pictures to spaces that fill me with pure energy, also, any feeling that transmits me a moment, once I was told "a photograph can say more than a thousand words" and perhaps, since it is an art and can transmit more than one feeling, I want to do what I love, like taking pictures, because the other day I was invited to go out in the afternoon to walk to the old castle of the city, see the sunset and take pictures of the place.

Antes de llegar al punto de encuentro, pude notar en la calle un par de fotógrafos tomándole fotos a una chica en la cera, se veía muy bien y justo en ese pequeño instante sentí tanto, como: “quiero ser como ellos; pero más yo, por supuesto”, el sitio donde estaban es bastante transitado, todo se veía tan urbano y de calle, que me gustó esa esencia y naturalidad.

Before arriving to the meeting point, I could notice in the street a couple of photographers taking pictures of a girl on the wax, she looked great and just in that little moment I felt so much, like: "I want to be like them; but more me, of course", the place where they were is quite busy, everything looked so urban and street, that I liked that essence and naturalness.

Gracias a mi amiga Stefany que me incluyo a crear ese bonito recuerdo, conocí nuevas personas, que iban en sintonía conmigo, con espíritu aventurero y ganas de hacer cosas nuevas, fue realmente gratificante ir al castillo y admirar el atardecer, conversar y hacer cosas simples como caminar y comer helados en compañía, lo aprecié bastante ya que no salgo mucho realmente.

Thanks to my friend Stefany who included me in creating this beautiful memory, I met new people, who were in tune with me, with adventurous spirit and desire to do new things, it was really rewarding to go to the castle and admire the sunset, talk and do simple things like walking and eating ice cream in company, I appreciated it a lot since I don't really go out much.

Estando allí hablamos de lo genial que sería conmemorar un día en la ciudad en el que todos celebraran al estilo medieval, como la época de Simón Bolívar o algo así, con bailes, vestidos y carruajes, tal vez hacer una competencia de quien lleva el mejor traje de época y traer un poco más de cultura a nuestra ciudad bonita, el castillo es un lugar perfecto para hacerlo.

While there we talked about how great it would be to commemorate a day in the city where everyone would celebrate in medieval style, like the time of Simon Bolivar or something like that, with dances, dresses and carriages, maybe have a competition of who wears the best period costume and bring a little more culture to our beautiful city, the castle is a perfect place to do it.

La verdad me sentía como en orgullo y prejuicio, admirando cada espacio y detalle del castillo, transportarme a esa época. El atardecer estuvo muy lindo, me sentí muy libre en aquel lugar, que, por supuesto volvería sin lugar a dudas, es un placer para mí hacer y compartir lo que amo, gracias.

The truth is that I felt like in pride and prejudice, admiring every space and detail of the castle, transporting me to that time. The sunset was very nice, I felt very free in that place, which, of course I would definitely return, it is a pleasure for me to do and share what I love, thank you.
