Fungi Friday - Very Beautiful Sea Coral Fungus
Hi mushroom lover friends, I am very happy that on this beautiful Friday I can greet you again with some beautiful mushrooms that I found to share in my #FungiFriday entry which was organized by brother @ewkaw.
In the rainy season like now, lots of mushrooms fill the area around my house, and the beautiful mushroom I found today is a jagged mushroom with the scientific name Schizophyllum commune.
Different from the serrated mushrooms that I found previously, these serrated mushrooms have a very beautiful shape like coral under the sea. In some of these serrated mushrooms the stems of the mushrooms look hollow, just like corals in the open sea where fish play.
This mushroom is really beautiful, I found this mushroom growing on a log that had been partially burned, but unfortunately this beautiful mushroom cannot be consumed because it is poisonous.
I really like looking at these toothy mushrooms because their shape is very beautiful, maybe some people will think this is a type of plant that grows in the sea because it is very similar to a very beautiful white coral.
Then, here I also found moon mushrooms which in scientific language are called Gymnopus mushrooms, this mushroom is no less beautiful because this mushroom is pink and very small in size.
Seeing this mushroom up close makes the appearance of this mushroom look even more beautiful, the back of the mushroom petals also looks very beautiful with the bones covering the entire mushroom petals.
I really like looking at this Gymnopus mushroom from behind because it really looks very beautiful, this mushroom grows on fallen banana stems, unfortunately this mushroom cannot be consumed because it is poisonous.
These are the 2 types of mushrooms that I found today to share with friends here, thank you friends who have visited my post, see you at the next Fungi Friday.
