Fungi Friday - Tap shell mushroom and octopus mushroom
Hi mushroom lovers, today I want to participate again in the #FungiFriday challenge organized by my brother @ewkaw.
Today I managed to find a beautiful mushroom that surprised me a little because this mushroom grows on a kind of wild grass stem that is still standing upright on the ground, this mushroom is called Marasmiaceae Mushroom which is a large family of mushrooms that can all withstand drought, this type of mushroom has an extraordinary ability because it can shrink in dry weather and then grow back.
This mushroom has a clear white color and what I found looks like it has no stem, its thin petals also make this mushroom transparent and can be penetrated by bright light, the bones that spread on the bottom of the mushroom petals can also be seen clearly which makes the appearance of this mushroom even more amazing and so beautiful, at first glance this mushroom also looks similar to a shell.
Today I saw two identical mushrooms growing close together which made their appearance look very perfect. Not just one mushroom, today I also want to share with my friends another type of mushroom that looks very beautiful too, this mushroom is called Gerigit Mushroom, I found this mushroom growing on a dead coconut tree trunk.
What makes the gerigit mushroom that I found today look so unique and beautiful is because its shape is similar to an octopus because this mushroom looks like it has legs that spread like an octopus, this mushroom is also white which makes them look striking because they grow on the skin of a coconut tree which is a different color.
This mushroom is very easy to find in the rainy season and most importantly this wild mushroom can also be eaten, after knowing this information, I became curious about its taste.
This is the beautiful mushroom that I found and that I can share with my friends today, thank you for my friends who have visited my mushroom post today.
