Fungi Friday - King Cobra Mushroom
Hi mushroom-loving friends, this Friday we can finally greet each other again through the #FungiFriday challenge hosted by my friend @ewkaw.
Today I was very confident about finding beautiful mushrooms in the forest because it rained very heavily yesterday afternoon. Not long after I went into the small forest near my uncle's house today, I immediately found a beautiful mushroom growing on a tree trunk lying on the ground. This new mushroom I found was small and white, resembling a fan.
This mushroom was growing alone. I personally feel lucky to have found this beautiful mushroom because if I hadn't been looking closely, I might have missed it. This type of mushroom is also very easy to find in humid weather with high rainfall. The top surface of this mushroom appears flatter than the bottom, which looks like neatly arranged, beautiful bones.
The second mushroom I found today was a species of fungus from the Gymnopus genus. I found this beautiful mushroom growing directly on the ground. This type of mushroom is also often called a moon mushroom. This beautiful mushroom has a brownish-white color, making it look so beautiful and spectacular.
These mushrooms usually grow in groups, but today I saw it growing alone. Finding this beautiful mushroom made me very happy. Taking photos of it was also easy because it was growing on flat ground and away from bushes.
The third mushroom I want to share with you today is the Sarcomyxa serotina mushroom. I found this mushroom on a fallen tree trunk. This mushroom itself has a very unique appearance, with a curved shape that resembles the head of a king cobra.
The underside of this beautiful mushroom has a beautiful striped pattern, and the top has a smooth appearance, making this beautiful mushroom look very beautiful and impressive.
These are the beautiful mushrooms that I can share with my friends today, thank you to my friends who have visited my mushroom post today.
Truly beautiful mushrooms
