Ducking Awesome photography

I had been riding my bicycle with my child when we spotted a bunch of ducks hanging around in a park. I didn't have a camera with me, but I had promised my child that we'd come to park tomorrow and I'd take my camera with me.

I was lucky enough that the ducks were still there. So here's a few photos I got from the ducks.

I wish I would have had more time to spend around the ducks, but by child wanted to do everything else in the park. And mostly things in a completely opposite direction of the ducks.

There were more ducks than one, as can be seen.

A large quantity of ducks lying down
Very many more than only one.

Not all of the photos were successful though.

And not all the birds were ducks.

We even spotted some great crested grebes in the water. I could have cropped these photos, but I think it would look wrong. Especially as you can see the tern flying in the same photo.

But if you look closely, you can see that one of the birds has chicks on it's back.

I'll try to get a chance to upload more bird photos from the summer. And maybe from last summer too, as it seems I've had a longer pause from the photo posts.

Hiya :D

I've been too much around everything lately but hopefully I'm here for longer than a single post. I think I still have some really nice photos to share here anyways, as otherwise I really don't post them anywhere.

But nice to see some familiar faces here! Or have you been doing anything else than hanging around here? :)

Thats awesome, man!! Glad to see you again. I am not posting much either but still learning and creating art. Whats more amazing is that about 2 months ago I finally be able to get a high end PC that I was waited years for. Now I can run applications that I couldn't run before. 😊

Nice, what kind of PC did you get?

Are you learning about art or learning about something else? :D

(Edited)

Yes I am learning more art applications :)) My last PC had just 4 GBs of RAM and no dedicated GPU, which is needed to run other 3d apps. So I couldn't learn stuff that I wanted to. The PC I now have is pretty good. 32 GBs of RAM, it has dedicated GPU, good enough processor. Best PC in my budget. It is very fast. I am so happy, I had to wait years but finally!! 😀

Sounds good, do you want to share details about the GPU and the processor? :D

I'm interested in details, especially as I've been looking to upgrade my PC in the near future.

That is really impressive. No wonder it is so fast :D

At least when I'm trying to compare their performance stats to my Ryzen 2600X and GTX 970, I can tell you your PC sounds really nice. I might be a bit jealous.

Thank you, my friend!! Yes it is so fast that makes me happy. Never had a PC so fast. Sculpting something right now and I can go up to many subdivisions that are necessary for a detailed sculpture. I was so limited with 4GBs of RAM before. 😁
