Great photos!

I generally only see snow when I actively seek it out to go skiing.

When it snows in Jerusalem, as it did this week, people come out and play in it and go wild because it happens about twice a decade.

But having to live with it in your every day life is another thing entirely.

Making lemonade out of lemons is the way to deal with difficulty and unpleasantness in life - your art has certainly done this.
