Wild Weather
Yesterday right around sunset a massive storm moved through and dropped a bunch of rain, then the light came out so I grabbed my drone real quick and sent it up and was admittedly a bit amazed by what I saw.
Wowzors... It almost looked like a tornado or a hurricane or something, it was just so enormous and going so high up into the sky my lens couldn't even properly get it all!
I felt very grateful that I was able to see this, I find myself being extremely grateful for so many things these days... It's really nice to feel so alive and full of life!
I got a bunch more epic and beautiful shots including some of Cathedral Rock with awesome clouds and lighting and I will share those at some point in the future. :) Cheers, much love and hope you're all doing well! :) <3
I've always been fascinated by the power of the elements. I am also fascinated by storms, when the waves break and throw huge stones onto the shore, which have worn their corners against this moisture over the centuries...
Well said. Very poetic. :) Reminds me of the adventure I went on yesterday in some ways as I found some huge boulders which made me wonder how they got there! They must have seen a lot of weather and perhaps some extreme weather!
There are theories that say that parts of the current landmass may have previously been the bottom of oceans.... Somewhere glaciers came down, dragging and grinding huge masses of rock behind them.
what used to be angular over the centuries becomes rounded...
Well said! I've actually been reading similar geological history sorts of stuff in recent times as it connects to the adventures I've been on and, yeah... I can't prove it one way or the other and I think some who think it is 100% proven are probably overstepping a bit, but there sure are some amazing theories in regard to how all this came to be! :D
What a beauty, it is a wonderful photograph, I also like the fact that you always say thank you, being grateful is something we take for granted, but it is not like that, when we say thank you, we feel better.
I wish you a happy weekend
Agreed! It sure was a beautiful and wonderful view! Albeit a bit intense as well.
Aw. Thanks for letting me know what you said after that about how you like when I say I'm grateful and thankful. :) It really does help make one feel better! I was just thinking about that the other day and that's the main reason I do it! But, there's a lot of other benefits too. :) I wish you a happy weekend too!
