Quite a View...
Had another immensely lovely day yesterday! :D
I rediscovered a Native American ruin in the most amazing place, the people who lived there must have been so grateful and happy to live in such an incredibly beautiful and special location!
There's also a place called Tabletop that I tried to climb, but... It's extremely steep and dangerous and you have to climb straight up the side of a cliff and I was a bit scared and also hesitant cause my injury made it even more unsafe and I should probably get a little stronger in my arms and upper body too as it's literally death or a broken body if I mess up.
I used to climb it when much younger... Man I was such a badass... But... I don't wanna "exit" this life just yet or become a cripple and I'll wait and try to do it in the future when I get stronger, it's a challenge that I look forward to someday accomplishing!
Got some nice drone shots and went swimming for the first time in a long time and... It was much colder than summer but still nice. :)
On the way home I saw the cutest little baby boy with blue eyes and blond hair playing in the water and it reminded me of myself when younger and reminded me to honor my inner child and continue working on opening up more and letting my inner child be more free to play with the world.
This injury I've had has been brutal... One of the worst I've ever had and I've had some bad ones! So incredibly painful beyond my ability to describe and each day is a challenge, but... I've been working hard consistently and I'm feeling the best I have in a long time today, I'm trusting in the process that I'm going to be back to normal before too much longer. :)
Peace and much love always. ❤️
Dude, this photo is incredible! This is a drone shot you took?
Sorry to hear about your injury! I hope it's able to heal relatively quickly and you get can some climbing in. One of the amazing things about climbing is that you can develop strength for it at any age. I've definitely seen some much, much, much older climbers who were way stronger than me.
Yep! I got this with the drone. And, I got some sweet video clips too with the drone like circling around me so you can see everything all around me, but I can't really upload videos here in the same way I can on Facebook? And didn't upload it to YouTube cause it's just a small clip.
Do you happen to use Facebook? I wouldn't mind connecting with you on there if you do! I enjoy chatting with you and really appreciate your open mindedness and civility even when it comes to issues where we disagree.
Also, thanks for your empathy about my injury and the wise words about climbing! I totally agree!!
You could upload the video using https://3speak.tv/ I think? I haven't tried for a long time but I think it's pretty straight forward.
Man, I honestly haven't checked Facey for years. I do use Twitter though if that's helpful?
Pretty sure 3speak costs money unless they changed it?
You should be able to look at my page on Facebook without friending me or anything... Lemme see if I can get a direct link for you.
Couldn't find a direct link to that video or post, but here's a link to my page and if you scroll down 3 posts at the time of me sending this you should be able to find it. It's the first comment in the post identical to this one on Hive.
If you don't see this until After tomorrow around noon for me, then it might be a few more posts down as I usually post 2 or 3 things a day on FB.

3speak costs money? I had no idea.
I assumed they took a percentage of your Hive votes but pretty much all the dApps do so I didn't think that was a big deal.
That 360 drone video is awesome!! That whole area looks incredible! Amazing!
When I tried to upload before they had a fee for hosting the files online, I don't remember that with any of the other dApps I've used, I think you have the option to pay with Hive? But, it just kinda turned me off when I can upload elsewhere for free.
Glad you found the video and appreciated it! :) Yeah this sure is a beautiful and special place! Like something out of a movie or a fantasy book or something. :D
Hmmm, I'll have to try myself and find out... I used to upload a lot to DTube but haven't actually played with 3speak for a long time (if ever).
I like how you talk, the inner child, some people say they want to be children again, I think it is because the childhood they have had has been pleasant, I do NOT want to be a child again, my memories unfortunately are not pleasant at all.
I appreciate that. :) I like how you talk too.
It is weird how as children we often want to grow up and as adults we often want to be children again... But... I'm sorry to hear you had an unpleasant childhood. That's sad and my heart goes out to you.
I don't necessarily think we should look at it as wanting to be a kid again per se, but to embody certain childlike aspects in our adulthood... Like curiosity and the desire to have fun and be playful! I think we should retain those things no matter how old we get!
