Autumn is a period of weather swings. One day the sun is shining, and in the evening a beautiful sunset says that tomorrow the weather will be just as good. But it's raining outside in the morning. There was a slightly funny situation this morning. I usually go to the office in the morning before my daughter leaves for school, but today we went outside together. She was surprised that it was raining. And I was holding an umbrella in my hands, because I woke up and looked out the window. I do this every morning. But my daughter doesn't look out the window in the morning. At all. That's the kind of daughter I have. She is 17 years old. They say it's Generation Z, and that's how they behave.

My daughter went to the right side to the bus stop, and I went to the left. I have to walk to the office in 12 minutes. For the sake of such hiking trips to the office and back, I bought an umbrella this year! I bought the previous umbrella in 1987. It was a high-quality, sturdy umbrella, and it served me well for 5 years, but then it was stolen from me. Since then, I have lived without an umbrella. When I was a donor and donated plasma and blood, the doctors of the blood transfusion center gave me an umbrella when I became an honorary donor, but my daughter took it from me. When was that? That was before the COVID pandemic. I didn't need an umbrella because I was driving a car.

I always need to travel by car from my home to my place of work, because the distance is very long. Now this distance is about 45 km.
But this year I'm living with my daughter in the regional center in the apartment of my college friend, or rather, it's her parents' apartment. Her dad died, and she took her mom to Moscow and offered me to live in this apartment. I do not know what will happen next year. My daughter is in her last year of school, and then she will go to university. A friend wants to sell this apartment, and then I will travel to the office from my house again. But this year, my daughter and I are not living at home.

It hasn't stopped raining all day today. In the evening, I also walked with an umbrella in my hands. By the way, my wife wrote that it was raining very heavily at home, and while she was walking from the bus to the house, she was soaked because she was walking without an umbrella.
