Walking Along The Edge of The Fog

Today was the last day of September. Warm and even a little sunny. But in the morning, when I was driving from home to the office, it was foggy, and I thought about making a report about it, but I forgot to take the memory card out of the DVR. It's about 45 km from my house to my office. When I crossed the Vyatka River bridge and entered the city, the fog disappeared.

I left home early today and arrived almost an hour and a half before the start of work. Of course, I decided to take a walk around the city. But where should I go? I just went east, towards the river.
After walking 2 blocks, I realized that there was fog ahead of me. Wonderful!

Sometimes I observe changes in this ravine. About 10 years ago, I saw a landscaping plan for this place. It was supposed to build a shopping center and entertainment facilities based on the slope of the ravine. It was under Governor Nikita Belykh. But... Sometimes it happens that the governor ceases to suit the Central Government and is removed from his post, but often this is done through imprisonment. In this case, Nikita was sent to prison. The official verdict was for corruption. By the way, this ravine is located between Lenin and Nikitskaya Streets.

There is a memorial stone next to the ravine. It says: "The street is named after Albert Likhanov (1935-2021), an outstanding writer and public figure, founder of the Russian Children's Fund."

I walk past him and turn left. If I had turned right, I would have found myself where I took a photo of this monastery 2 weeks ago. I even planned to visit there in the fog, but I went for a walk without a camera, only with my trusty old iPhone XR.

Last week, when I went to Belarus, my companions discussed the interesting graffiti in this place. And now I've decided to see him. I need to go up to the top landing, to the gate of the North.

I decided to show all the photos without editing them in the editor. But I adjusted this photo along the vertical guides; otherwise, the Cathedral was tilted very much to the right. Although even now this inclination is present.

There are 3 words on the hill: 3 names of our regional capital - Khlynov, Vyatka, Kirov. There's an old song, I've known it since the mid-80s of the last century, where all these names are mentioned and it says that "and this is all my Capital of the World. neither Tokyo, nor Washington, but the Russian city of Kirov".

Well, they decided to put such a composition here 3 years ago. Why? I don't know. But many tourists and visitors of the city are photographed in this place, especially girls.

That's the graffiti. The inscription is Vyatka-automaton. This is the name of a washing machine that has been manufactured since the 80s of the last century. Until 2022, Candy and Bosh washing machines were produced on the factory's premises under the supervision of Italian specialists. I do not know what is being done at the factory.
