The weather harbinger did not deceive about the approach of heat.
Today is really spring weather, the thermometer indicates a temperature of +2 degrees.
With the arrival of such heat, the birds became more active and today I even re-put food in the bird feeder.
But the most amazing thing is that a green woodpecker has arrived. Of course, his wife called him a green parrot. I saw a similar woodpecker 2 years ago on a tree outside the window. What attracts him? He flew in to peck at the lard that my wife hung on a tree 2 days ago.



Delicious lard and the woodpecker liked it very much. He pecked at this piece for about 5 minutes and was in no hurry. In fact, this piece was hung for the tits, but they did not pay attention to it, because there were delicious sunflower seeds in the feeder, which they like more.
While the woodpecker was eating lard, I even called my mother to the window so that she could look at this bird. She is already 84 years old, but she said that she had never seen such a woodpecker before.

Look, friends, the moss on the tree trunk and the color of the bird's feathers are very similar in color. It seems to me that from a great distance, the bird will be poorly distinguishable on the tree. Nature does everything very well.



It's not a bird, it's my cat Hinata.
Today she decided to hunt some birds. Of course, none of this worked out for her. The birds flew to nearby trees and watched her from there. One little tit decided to play with the cat and did not fly away from the tree, but flew from branch to branch. So she played for about 5 minutes.
Well, the cat had to jump out of the tree and return home through the window.
